Mercedes-Benz Vision One-Eleven - More important than you think 

It does look like the cars that made me dream as a kid, so that's a good point. It has that late 90's early 2000's concept car look that made me fall in love with automotive design

I like how Mercedes is really pumping out a lot of concepts recently. They are definitely testing the waters for future design

I really like the topmost sketch. The lifted rear is a very nice callback to the original design.

That's one awesome looking concept car. Even under the smooth and shiny bubble look you can still see the 60s proportions.

Well done Mercedes, having no real inspiring cars lately, this looks really good - kudos to the original design and designers. This is way more inspiring than the new Porsche concept...

This is the type of thing that I think electric cars need to take advantage of, that shape could never fit an engine in it, but it doesn’t need to, the room for innovative and beautiful design in electric cars is not being take advantage of, this does.

This car, as surprisingly polarising as it is, is one that does something special in today’s day and age. It invokes emotion. The vision one - eleven shows us that, the angelic symphonies of the V10s and V12s of yesteryear were not mutually exclusive in their effect. Emotion can be silent. Emotion can be an abstract concept. This car, with its incredibly avante garde styling shows us that very concept. The design is also reminiscent of the wedge shaped cars of the 60s and 70s like the HF stratos, or the Maserati boomerang. The seemingly mismatched interior-exterior combination is something that I deem to be asymmetrical yet fitting to the car. A Time Machine ready to go back Millenia on the outside, and a sanctuary of solitude on the inside. Beautifully done, Mercedes - Benz.

My expectations for Mercedes are so low nowadays. I doubt they can build anything half as instresting as this. While Mercedes is 111 Porsche is 911

I would agree that it looks much better than the EQ series but I think it still is too egg shaped for my taste. The front is too short while rear end points out a bit too much and the roof looks too intergrated also the pillars in the rear got removed🙄. I can see it capture some of the looks of the s111 but not so much for the proportions. It's also too clean to a point where it feels souless.

Mercedes has kinda missed the mark with design lately with everything but the amg gt. But this concept is the exception, it looks amazing

I like the retro aspects of the design, but it feels a bit to digital and out-of-touch. Like the BMW Dee Concept. The EV technology in the car is very interesting though, I wonder what innovations will come about in the next few years.

all the beautiful curves and yet the doors are lifelessly squared off. I know it's the way the old one was but maybe not everything needs to follow the old. The old car was designed that way because they had difficulty making the gall-wing seal properly.

Please do a deign critique of the Z4 Sport Touring concept - really interested to see your thoughts and comparisons on the last Z3M Coupe and shootings brakes in general

BMW/Mercedes and maybe Hyundai have the balls to get make a car 90-95% close to the concept.

6 Horsepower More Than The Nevera. The Porsche Mission X aims at a 1:1 power to weight ratio. Being produced in 4 years from now. The Nevera is slightly below that power to weight ratio. Mate Rimac and his team have not only provided Porsche and other manufacturers with their battery technology for many years, they have set the standard for electric cars.

Answer about the little false 3 vents inspiration at the front end: it is not on the C111-3 but it is on the previous version…google C111-2 and you will see them!

I wish mercedes would bring this concept to life as close as posible like audi does and bmw did with i8 from bmw vision

That thing looks great, no question, with all the space at the back of the seats you could easily fit an AMG V12 with some mods but keeping proportions, but that silver interior (*sigh)Tacky… What was wrong with some modern black material and orange stitched?

Actually to see the dash you have to wear augmented reality glasses that come with the car to see all the gauges and everything in 3d

I immediately associate that modern orange color with McLaren, not Merc. Mercedes should stick with their silvers and blacks.

this would've been one of my favorite cars from Mercedes if it wasn't for the interior, it perfectly brings back the style from the 60s, but the interior is almost too modern, to the point it looks plain lazy and boring, also I'm not the biggest fan with the blue lights, I feel like that should've been in the interior

i like it, but the side veiw is what ruins the car tho.

I don't like it. Don't think it's any good. It's a nonsense design. Not a single thought went into the car's practical value. That front is ruined as soon as you put on a license plate. The design has nothing to do with Mercedes. Apart from the Mercedes star there isn't really anything that says this is a Mercedes. Except, maybe, if you wanna see it like that, the gullwing doors. But I personally see those as a cheap gimmick. And the interior... well, that's just absurd. Looks like a design from the Jetsons.
