mercedes benz W169 A class A 180 CVT Transmission DTCs : 0793 : the rpm signal from the component Y3/9b4 CVT secondary RPM sensor is unavailable.
0896 : impermissible adjustment of the step- down ratio the CVT.
0722 : the rpm signal from the component Y3/9b5 output RPM sensor is unavailable.

Our W169 has failed, intermittent forward & reverse. TCM fault code 2732. Have you had any experience with this code. Research shows it's going to be the valve control body itself rather than the electronic control module. Expensive part to take a risk on, that's the problem.

Hi can you fix this module 722.8 after repaired I got the fault 0602 Control module Continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is not coded. 0710 The signal from component Y3/9b2 (CVT (continuously variable automatic transmission) temperature sensor) is not available 062f Control unit Continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is defective.

Can a circuit board be checked and repaired, even if I do not have the faultcodes? How much would it cost to fix, if at all possible without the codes?

@@busdriver1469 I've merc b class with this problem, so done some search ,seen this repair reservice in ebay £235. I'm thinking of sending it to them.

Hallo aus Deutschland, Mir wurde die Getriebesteuergerät repariert und anschließend wieder zurück eingebaut, nun gibt er aber komische kratzende Geräusche sobald man ein Gang einlegt und etwas Gas gibt? Können sie mir bitte einen Tipp geben woran das liegen könnte. Bin für ihre Hilfe sehr dankbar Gruß

Hi danke für deine Antwort, Eigentlich zu 99 % bin ich mir sicher das Sie eingerastet ist..hab es jetzt 3 mal eingebaut. Und jedesmal sehr drauf geachtet. Besser kann ich es nicht mehr sehen. Immer P gelassen und Fahrzeug hoch und so gut ich sehen kann Nase eingerastet

@@ek8001 did you slide the fork fully to the right side before installing the control unit? Right side is the side when you sit opposite the control unit your face is towards the unit and fork side of the unit is towards your body then the fork should be slide fully to the right side before installation, i received the same message from another viewer too the had the same problem and the case was that, the fork wasn't in the right place, if you have installed everything in the right order and the problem is still there, it had better take the vehicle to a professional.
