Your like the best example of why I've owned this car 3 times. Fixing up a vintage Mercedes-Benz makes a bold statement without words. Perfect job. Hope you and your car are still happy.
Hello, next year I will got that same Mercedes (it will be my first car) from my grandfather. I love this video, because my Mercedes is in bad condition too (now) engine is good, exhaust is good, chassis is good, but the body begins to rust. Some would throw away such an old car, but I like to save him and this video gives me a hope. What is your engine and year of production?
@@richybenz Really? This is good, our car got that same engine 90kW or 122hp, but is a 1996 before facelift. How many kilometers are got your engine ? Our car got 300K and I think for this engine is it to easy. :D I like to do 500K, I'm little scary from rust, but against your is rust very small even if it is older than your. I don't understand how, but it is. :D
Congratulations on restoration, it is amazing to see that someone saves such car, even with smaller engine and rust. Really brings back hope haha :) I have a question, how did you made the blue hue/color of headlights? Did you use some tint wrap for lights, light tint spray paint or installed some blue bulbs that give that effect? it looks great! Reminds me childhood times when many people were tinting their headlights blue with spray for tinting haha :D
