The sound is amazing, the difference compared to the standard Burmester is night and day. I couldn’t recommend Audiofile-incar enough. Well worth the 10 hour (600 mile) round trip.👍🏻
Wow very impressive I wish I was in Europe seems like a lot of high end audio is there. If you had the option would you had made a custom trunk liner with holes for air movement and placed the sub up firing? Thinking of doing that to mine maybe
How can I tell if my Mercedes has a bulkhead subwoofer? Are you removing these when installing an upgraded system or do you leave them in? I've been looking at replacing all of my door speakers and adding a sub in the boot of my GLC, but it's been 15 years since I've done anything with car audio and it seems things have changed quite a bit.
How much setup like that cost anyone know how sound on cla 35 2022 standard is I've always had burmester and even that was ok so I'll definitely probably want upgrade I know lot about headunit but I'm not audio guy but I have one where you get the parts if you don't mind linking what you use on a cla 35 2022
Another reason why not so SAd I didn't get burmester was because in past it was not worth money 800$ but anyone know good alternative usa I could prob piece together a decry system but rather hear experience
Are you able to get more midrange? I think the Burmester system is weak in the area between bass and mid-range. I'm not sure what size speakers are in the doors, but they look very small. Are aftermarket speakers able to get more lower frequency sound?

There are several you can use but we are currently getting really into the Focal Flax Merc kits, they have the advantage of getting a 4" in rather than a 3". There is also less fabrication involved meaning we can offer better value.
I disagree. I have HK in my 4 series and base audio in the 2 series, I can tell you now the HK is well worth a £600 upgrade from factory imo, doesn't the burmester come with mag premium package? so seems an added bonus. It does the job. However the 2 series is going in for an upgrade.
@@wolfiestreet6899 I have hk in my f36 and that’s fine and a good factory upgrade I like the surround sound yes Hugh volume can get a little distorted. The mrs (240i) has the system 3 from Audiofile with hifi coding. So yes, I do know the difference between them. I get your point but burmester is going to be similar to the hk and the comparisons are there or there about. And a factory upgrade is always better than base considering the cost difference. You get what you pay for.
@@wolfiestreet6899 the point I’m making that any audio upgrade from factory is worth the extra money i put my pennies worth in saying a factory hk upgrade in my BMW is worth it. Any factory upgrade is better than a base system - merc and burmester included.
