The engine in the C63 is a 4.0 litre V8 and not a 4.4 litre, otherwise a great review by a guy who is ridiculed so much and still comes back even better.
No matter what people say it is very hard to choose between this and its rivals from BMW and Audi . Each of them is just lovely and has its own character . Love this design and the smooth and silent cruising ability of this C class . I think of Bentley whenever i see a new A5 coupe . Very elegant and classy car that isn't for showy people yet will never feel dated as high tech is a given . The 4 series would be the one to make me smile as i drive it when i feel down yet it has comfortable cabin . Real problem is : one can afford just one .
I genuinely thought for the first minute this video was about the new E-class coupe, because the C class coupe has been around for a bit longer. I didn't read the title well .. says enough about how similar they look.
F**k the BMW it's looks inside and out are VERY old-hat, this is a Quantum Leap ahead of the BMW or AUDI and as someone who has driven them all and does so regularly it's a lot better car too, It feels special to drive. just my opinion!!
I've sold my 2016 C-class after 2 and a bit months of ownership Firstly, I really do recommend to go for petrol versions. My C250d had a 2.1 diesel which was very economical but it sounded like it was taken from the Sprinter Van. Performance was mediocre too (C220d must be quite slow then). Not to mention diesel makes this car very boring. Secondly, beware of reliability. After a week of ownership I discovered an issue with the boot lid (plastic supports would come of and prevent the boot from closing properly). Also had an issue with the sunroof blind jamming. Thirdly, even if you do upgrade to the "comand" system like I did, Merc's infotainment system is a pain to use. Especially using the satnav and typing in the address with the knob, takes ages. Also some buttons are weirdly located and have not been adapted properly from left-hand drive to right-have drive (e.g. the drive select is on the passenger side) Overall, I recommend to spend extra to get a C43 or a C63 since those come with more kit and of course better engines that make this car fun. If you can't afford at least a top spec C300, you'll probably be better of buying the new A5 TDI
SP I don't think there is a C350 on sale in the UK, when I was ordering the C-class coupe the only versions available were C220d, C250d and C300 I went for C250d AMG Line and once I spent some time with it I realised that it is not as good as I was hoping If I was to order a C-class coupe now, I'd try to stretch my budget and get a C43. If not, then at least, a C300, but definitely not the diesel versions
mercedes has lost it with the design team. every car is identical no wonder S class owners are pissed off why would I want my S class to look like any other mercedes :\ fail.
Please, when you have an S Class, everyone around you knows you do. Very few that matter are stupid enough to confused the limousine of an S Class with a C, or even E Class.
Yung Dro mercedes has always been like that.....the C class has ALWAYS looked like a small S class...take the w202 and w203 they look just like their S class daddies of the time....
Actually no, most people don't know it's an S Class unless you tell them. And unless they are side by side the difference of size between the C and the S isn't really striking either.
Does it bother anyone else that all these car reviews are always the top or the range with £1000's of extras added on. I want to see a review of more entry/mid-level specs as those would surely be more useful for the average potential buyer?
Is this a good first car to own? Is it practical also? I'm mostly out with my friends, most of them are around 6 foot pretty big guys do you think they could possibly comfortable fit in the back seats?
Would be a stunning car if it was electric only (350km realistic range), but like this I am not going to spend 40k plus for technology that is outdated in a heartbeat.
A great review again from one of the internet's best reviewers! The car? well some angles are great but the rear is podgy I'm afraid, and a non-integrated infotainment screen is a no no. With elements of the E class dash and a redesigned rear it'd be perfect.
Couldn't agree... LESS. You can find the dating interior in Audi or BMW, but this won't really age. When new generation comes out, it will be right at the time for an upgrade. It's not that hard to understand that.. oh wait! You're just hating the "horrid screen" even though BMW's and Audi's screens aren't that much better. Biased idiot.
Why does everyone on car buyer say the iDrive is better than Comand? Comand is much better! Can't you guys use your own words instead of the scripted bollocks you're given? IDrive sucks and every time I use it I felt things were unnatural and took longer to do...
Maybe on the exterior but inside half the parts on the engine are made of bloody PLASTIC! Don't expect this to run for more than 3-4 years without breaking water pump or something... bloody outrageous for the price they demand.

Mercedes-Benz by far the best looking new cars on the road now. audi have lost it in the looks with its very cooperate styling. bmw just boring to look at.
maybe u should review small hatches , A segment cars,mpv's and so on......i donot know why whenever u review a nice sporty car u kinda dull down the whole thing...nothing personal bt nobody is perfect at everything... these cars always sell on looks and that badge on the bonnet...
Don't like Merc's design language for their cars the last few years. This looks kind of tank-ish (!) not the sleek, elegant lines you'd expect to exude sophistication (although the interior is sublime). But anyway, what difference does it make how much you like this. I'd just head over and get a rival Lexus anyway I'm so fed up and heart broken with the German's appalling reliability record.
Why does this guy always start with bootspace. U do not buy a c43 amg if u are interested in the loading lip! He done the same thing with the rs7 review! So incredibly boring!
