@@rawr51919 I just went out and did that thing to clear the overdue service reminder. Now it says the next service is due in 1000 miles. However by mileage my next oil change is due in a couple hundred. I always use one of those stickers on my windscreen and change it every 5000 miles.
@@wernerdanler2742 there is a way to change the mileage interval I can’t remember exactly. I have a 98 e320. If you have the owners manual it would give that info
I just grab my snap on scanner for resets on European cars. It's quicker and the newer the car, the more stupid steps one has to take. I like just pumping the gas 3 times and you're done. Here's looking at you, GM and Chrysler
Sir If it takes only 10 sec. to reset the service indicators then the service should be complete. At least in the eyes of the driver, as that is what they see from behind the steering wheel. LOL.
