I'd recommend checking the oil first before you do that in case the car is right and it needs changed

@@rawr51919 changing my oil is something I do quite regularly. It's just that I never knew how to get rid of those warnings.

@@wernerdanler2742 That makes it pretty easy then! Just let the car remind you for another oil check when it comes on

@@rawr51919 I just went out and did that thing to clear the overdue service reminder. Now it says the next service is due in 1000 miles. However by mileage my next oil change is due in a couple hundred. I always use one of those stickers on my windscreen and change it every 5000 miles.

@@wernerdanler2742 there is a way to change the mileage interval I can’t remember exactly. I have a 98 e320. If you have the owners manual it would give that info
