We had a message on a whatsapp rescue group. The first location sent was incorrect, but was soon updated.
A heavy Mercedes Off Road Camper had got stuck in a difficult location.
A number of people arrived to assist, in particular a gentleman in an impressive unimog 400.
The Camper was deiven by a gentleman touring the africa and the Middle East. The Camper had been laid up in Namibia for 4 years.
There was concern that the Camper could roll if moved. It was therefore anchored to athree pick up trucks before being pulled backwards.
The Camper moved back and turned perpendicular to the downgrade and was then able to drive down and out.
