Man these things were nasty back in the day. Mercedes really stepped up to a whole new game when they started putting out factory supercharged large-displacement V8s. The Hellcat honestly owes its heritage to these bad boys.
The pick of the C215 range. Bullet-proof drivetrain, great sound, instant throttle response. And it doesn't even need 98-RON petrol to deliver its best, like the V12 :) BTW, it also powered the limited edition CLK DTM AMG.
You have to be able to fix this yourself....not too hard, I have a 2003.....they will last for 500k miles, awesome stealth power...took many corvettes and mustangs to school....lol
Driver was shifting manually. There are shift paddles on the steering wheel. If you mean squeezing sounds Lowered suspension + 20inch Vossen wheels... Tyres are touching the car sometimes
