Your one latch on the left side of door has gone into the hole. I have both latches gone inside so now door does not get shut. :(

Where exactly you did to the lock

ı have the same problem in my w204 2013 c class. I will try what you did, but didn't understand how did it happen to mechanism. Could you please explain?
