Hi man my tank randomly burst. I’m pretty sure it’s because I put too much concentrated coolant in and not enough water. My temp gauge shot up to 120 on the dashboard and steam came out of the coolant reservoir where it was ripped! Never seen anything like it I thought my car was on fire! I’m gonna replace the tank tomorrow but I’m not sure which coolant to put in??? Which colour? Type/spec? Same with the power steering fluid I don’t know which one the car needs! It’s a CL500 Coupe/W215 with the V8 5.0 litre engine. Pls help!!!
HI Keith! Great videos! I tried to find video with the reservoir fixing but seems that you haven't done it yet. I have a question. My reservoir isn't leaking but recently I accidentally poured 30-50ml of motor oil in it (took a wrong jug). I quickly removed oil (stayed on top) and antifreeze from reservoir but reservoir was oily so I decided to remove and wash it. So the problem is it seems that there's something rattles inside. It might be some filter or sponge I don't really know but I'm a bit afraid that if I shake it too hard I can damage it. And then maybe it will get into the pump/motor. So question I have. Did you manage to fix your old reservoir? If so do you know what is inside by any chance?
How you doing I have a 2006 Saturn vue I need my coolant reservoir hose replaced but I don’t no the name to look up on google is there anyway you can give me the name I need to look up
So im having a issue where my 2011 ML350 states "coolant level low" but the level is fine. Will replacing this part correct my issue? Iam assuming the connector at the top is the level sensor
