Mercedes E-Class coupe 2014 review - Carbuyer 

These are just gorgeous to look at in person, Mercedes really got them right. It's a cruiser too, who cares if a 4 series is more fun? This has the look, the class, the interior touch.

I agree on having a performance package for this car. An AMG version of this would be a beautiful beast!

I'll admit that I'm a big BMW fan but this Mercedes is absolutely stunning! I've just recently test driven the new e class against the 5 series and I simply do not understand the hate against the merc's interior! Yes it is "less sporty and exciting" but there is just this sense of class that is missing from the BMW's interior. The way in which the e class deploys its leather, chromework and discreet lighting is simply delightful. The BMW lacks polish in comparison and doesn't feel anywhere near as expensive!

I have one and I love it! Nothing beats Mercedes if it comes to comfort and the great feeling of a typical cruiser! It is true that this car is not a formula 1 car but if you know how to enjoy and appreciate good company then this car is very good!

Bunch of stupid comments here. What is this; year of the wallybrains? The E class coupe is a competitor of a BMW 4 series coupe, because there ain't a 5 series coupe. The E class coupe isn't at all like a C class. The ones who wrote that didn't sat or drove a E and/or C class. You will notice the difference. The review of Carbuyer is good, BUT its still subjective. We all don't have the same taste in cars, don't find the same things important in a car and we look more into ourselves what we like on a car. So the comments about, electrical memory seat is not standard... Who cares? This review like ALL OTHER CAR reviews is only to show you how a car looks like from the inside and outside. The driving experience is subjective. So if you drove a E class, BMW 4 series coupe and an Audi A5 coupe (which i doubt) then you can mention your comment about the differences, if not .... Shut the hell up.

Memory package and electric steering wheel adjustment isn't standard on any model of the coupés. It is an optional extra.

Ever since the facelift this car has needed a redesign I am looking forward to the 2016/17

Looking to replace a 2007 CLK, the E Coupe seems a good solution. BMW 4 and A5 are exactly what i already have in the CLK from 8 yrs ago. If you thinking of getting any of those cheap new copies, get CLK 320 CDI for 10k or so and save 20-30k.

The seats are not adjustable electronically, they are adjusted electrically.

Nice nail polish......Rebecca. E class coupé is way over priced especially in Australia, servicing and insurance costs are prohibitive.

Weird that they took the rear fender "haunch" off for the E-Class sedan redesign, but left it on the coupe. I kind of wish they had left that design element on the sedan as well..

it's not fake leather, it's mb-txt, it's just the outer part of leather combined with polyester, at least that's what we have in the u.s

Mercedes are now working on a new system called CDS. Coffee Drip System. When the car senses you are getting tired it will start drip feeding strong espresso into your system. The SE model will even have a choice between double espresso or Skinny Latte! "It will take a few more years to develop the system" according to a spokesman in Arschloch Germany. "The current system where Mercedes drivers have to sit on a pointy straw is well liked by Mercedes drivers but the company are not assured by the hygienic complications it gives."

wait car buyer, is the 4 series/A5 a competitor to the C class or E class coupe? Wouldn't this be more comparable to the 6 series in terms of size? and In terms of price the 6 series goes to another league so really this car is in a league of its own...

It is a nice car, and I do like the mercedes brand. But if you're looking at an e class why would you buy the coupé. Although I think they look better in black, gives a more luxury look.

I still don't get why car makers are replacing a third back seat with cup holders on coupes. Jokers....
