the t30 spring arm. when installing new is it supposed to be tightened? or is it supposed to be able to be compressed?

A 4.7k ohm 2w resistor can be used on the plug, in position 2&3, if the swirl motor should fail. Love your content, very helpful as I have a Chrysler 300c with the om642 👍

Can also be smart to change the gasket for the oil cooler under there. The orange silicone seals starts to leak.

I tried cleaning it with break cleaner but electrical pins keep getting oil in them.is this motor gone bad it's full of oil.

do the flaps work the same on both sides,open open close close right?

Can a 100k resistor in the plug shunt these off similar to my gl320?

Are swirl flaps optional for this engine? I removed ones for my diesel bmw. I read they get brittle and break off in the intake. PS: I'm coming from Toyota channel and it's really odd to not hear "welcome to Toyota maintenance RU-vid channel" lol. Keep up the great work.

But, so here it is!, where can we find these famous Clips that you show in this tutorial?. For my part, I looked everywhere, I couldn't find his clips. Mines been totally removed and coded out of the ecm.

REMOVE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD, clen it and I bet the swirl flaps are not working properly, yes yes from a top it might seems that they are OK but I bet they are more KO then OK.
