Well done and great video, as commented before a good driver in a lesser capable vehicle is much better than a bad driver in a capable vehicle. You have fairly standard tyres, 18 or 19 inch rims and low profile tyres and made it work for you. Those other idiots clearly had no idea, and to bog a car as bad as some of those clowns is just testament to the fact that some people should not be allowed to have a 4wd. I hope others here watching see this as a good reason to go and do a 4wd course. Keep up the great work.
Nicely put together video and you looked well prepared. T looked a bit busier than when I was last there 25 years ago. It's also great to see a ML out there as well. Looks like you didn't have a problem with ground clearance either.
Well driven mate, the ML is certainly not as capable as other 4WDs but as you proved, a good driver can get it where you need to go (and a bad driver can get a Landcruiser bogged to the chassis 😅)
The Mercedes 4wd is full time engaged and whilst not as good as locking diffs, it's superior to open diffs. MLs have quite a following in Latvia and Russia where their abilities are quite useful.
@@vietho3683 Great that it's custom. Can you send me by email some photos from the side / front / above so I can recreate it myself for my ML here in Europe? Let me know if that's OK, and I will share my address :)
Awesome clip mate !! good on you for taking the Merc over there as many wont,Im thinking about taking a ML500 over did you drop the inflation on your tyres at all ? they don't look bagged at all.Did it handle the heat ok ?
@@Jester123ish the off road engineer package for this model is low range, center differential lock, higher suspension lift and some software progame for off road condition
I haven’t seen an airbag exhaust jack ever used on here even though it would be the fastest way to get any car out of the hole then just deflate the tyres to 15psi and off you go.
