04 E320 just put a new battery in it today so in a result my sunroof wasn’t working properly. I searched what to do in this situation and boom this video popped up….. worked like a charm. Thank you!

It’s a very nice trick. I tried it on a a class W176. The roof stopped working a few months ago. We didn’t know how to resolve it and we were advised to buy a new roof ‘engine’. Today I saw this video and tried it. It worked perfect. Thank you very much

Didn't work for 2000 CL500. The module makes clicking sounds when buttons pressed but that is it. Any idea what to look for next?

Hi, thank you for the video. I am going to try it on my B250 as the roller sunblind doesn't close but the sunroof works fine. Before following your steps, do I need to insert the SmartKey in the ignition lock? Thanks and I hope it will work for my car!

Worked just as described!! I disconnected my battery to fix a part and when I reconnected, my sunroof wouldn't open. This reset brought it right back to life!! Thumbs up brother! 👍

Worked perfectly, I had to disconnect the battery and the sunroof was fully open and then the only thing that would work was the shade and the window would stay open, after doing the button procedure it works fine now! Thanks.😊

Worked good, but after the reset my car had 0hp, was har getting over 60kmh! I just turned it off and on and than i worked totaly fine with full power. Just wondering if anymore else had the same experience? And if so do u somebody know why?

Yes could you tell me on a CL55 AMG coupe the passenger side rear window is it my window control module that causes the window not to drop down a little bit for the main window closure and then the back window goes up after it

Yup!!! My sunroof wasn’t closing all the way and had to keep holding down the button, after doing this the roof closes all the way without assistance!!

Great tip, fixed my roof problem. I’d just reconnected the battery after replacing my wiper arm, thought ‘bugger’, now my roofs not working but it just needed resetting. 👍🏻
