Just goes to show basic testing is paramount even when you have codes like starter control module faulty , when i seen that code i thought this is going to be an interesting diagnosis . Thanks for uploading this matt .

Helped me mate. I get no crank randomly no engagement with starter motor. Then can leave it for a bit and it just feels like starting. I'm going to start off with the starter motor.

Some guys could get carried away and chase the fault codes first. It’s good not to run away with yourself & do the basics first. I enjoyed it Matt 👍

Hi mate could you please help me ware about is the starter motor on the vito 111

my Vito is doing the same.. it was fine one moment and then later in the day it won't start, do you check all the fuse or the is a specific one since I don't have any mechanical equipment or experience..

Hi there. Mine has a similar problem. But it's not a fuse. It starts sometimes but intermittently just doesn't want to crank. If I disconnect the battery and reset it, it starts. Very strange

Hey less of the “ not much of a video”, the amount of vehicles I see that have had parts fired but no ones bothered to basic checks is ridiculous. Back to basics on every vehicle form, then that gives you the direction needed for a conclusive diagnosis.
