I'm updating my Merch Research process to include a paid tool called Merch Informer. Merch Informer allows you to quickly and easily find out what's selling, research new niches and save a list of interesting listings that you want to refer back to later. They also have a bulk upload tool that lets you add your designs to multiple POD platforms at once.
If you've been on Merch by Amazon for long then you're probably still doing research like I did when I started. Searching through listings on Amazon and comparing BSR to find out what's selling.
