It's about the coming of existence of a silvery blob, i guess, which grows by reflecting, so, with the speed of sight. Outside becomes inside. Time gets locked in the only remaining tense, the present. To make things worse the, hmm, thing messes with existancialism and merrily hums Shakespear quotes on it's timeless trip beyond the boundaries of the known universe. Or so.
Mercury lifeform
A quicksilver consciousness.
A perfectly round silvery pearl.
A labour of love of the blackest, deepest sea that gathered the skeletons of moonlight beams from it's nightly, fractured coat of little colours.
Sheltered, secluded and deprived of self-experience by simple gravity:
The trigger finger in this shotgun marriage.
The unrefusable offer to an aimless, single murmur and only legacy of imploded voids.
The diamond of the liquid world.
Heavy with hunger. Heavy with the anticipation of hunger.
The final teardrop of a lesser god searching birth and form in a reflective surface, turning all his past into a static, insatiable present.
It's abnormous rate of growth is turning the speed of love into a joke to lame to laugh in time.
We will not see it coming.
And when we turn into a mirrored image it will be a brake so hard that all our past will be jolted into the driver's seat.
Welcome to the totality of the here and now.
When all past has turned into present,
all original sound into echo,
and life itself into a back-up program stored away,
then all remaining language is the blinding light of myriads of suns standing perfectly still in their summoned lifespan.
And when the surface of the silvery alternative equals the outskirts of the universe - it will not stall or hesitate to cross that border.
Maybe the immeasurable mass of empty information, the monstrous swelling of it's darkening skin and the inevitable sinking of existence into oblivion eventually implies a sense of time. Just because it seems there's no more left.
And at that very end of endlessness that strange dimension might be found by reflecting what is not there but, by all means, must have been. Once.
But as what's past has turned into a meanwhile futureless present it must be inside the mercury lifeform. Somewhere.
The smallest thing imaginable, a singularity containing a complex axis to the known dimensions. The coin to flip that always lands on both sides. Game over -- Start again. Game over -- Start again.
The mercury lifeform might come full circle. But more probable it already has ...
