@@dinkins335 Apparently there is a story behind the sound clip that is played at the end of the song. Something about a bunch of kids not letting Barnes sleep in due to them making too much noise on the playground.
@spectral visage can others vouch or did you go alone? They had camcorders in the 90s. I've read that they never played that song due to the nature of the theme.
I let a comment on a past video that said “Frozen Soul is Instagram Hype Metal” and it mysteriously disappeared. Not even Mark Zuckerberg wants to be associated with that band I guess
@@28nihilist Alright you got two bands to go see live and listen to on a weekend it's either Manowar the destroyers of false metal 😆 or frozen soul ??? Lmao.
@@28nihilist 🤣 😂. I will say manowars 80s material is great and their live shows are top notch. It's hard to get into newer bands man alot are recycled gimmicks recycled sound recycled lyrics.
@@richpittman666 yea, but wretched spawn is way easier to play, haha jdawg isn't a musician so he might not understand.. sometimes you need a breather in the set
CC played the same stuff 10 years ago with the exception of all the new material that has come out since. Wanted more songs from Butchered. Never seen them perform Meat Hook.
Glad to hear / see hells still pressing 7 inches. Alot of labels are abandoning the format and pressing 1 sided lp's instead. Fuck that! If it fits on a 7 inch, put it on a 7 inch! UNDERGROUND MUSIC BELONGS ON 7 INCH VINYL!! and don't get me started with these pressing plant turnaround times. We got a bunch of bangers in the pipeline that are taking FOREVER to get completed. Things aren't even arriving here in the order I submitted them!! Its been a mess!
Reading things like this makes me glad I’m not in a band at the moment. I couldn’t imagine the bullshit bands and labels are dealing with on the vinyl plant fiasco.
Gotta go with Over The Top because it actually completely messed up the action movie scene in the 80’s. Cannon Films offered Stallone so much money for it, that every action star started to demand higher pay for movies afterward. I think the whole industry was mad at Cannon after that, but fuck Hollywood anyway. Also Road House is good, but it’s not Stallone doing bicep curls while driving a big rig good.
@@rexor7590 You got some pretty good insights there. Cannon Films was a mad house in the 70's and 80's. I too like Over The Top, but however I'll have to go with Road House on this one. Both are delectably corny 80's action flicks, that are a blast to watch. But I think Road House is simply the better put together of the two films. That being said Sly is obviously much more significant to cinema than Swayze ever was.
I met Mitch Harris at a show in Chicago. A buddy of mine ran into him after the show so we all went back to my buddies car and smoked a joint with him. It was the *"Fear, Emptiness, Despair"* tour in '94. That's the last Napalm Death album I payed attention to. Heard a later one that sounded cool but I just never picked anything up. *"Harmony Corruption"* is my favorite album.
since code is red ND constantly releases really strong albums. probably their best albums through their whole huge discography. not nearly as influential as older stuff but musically it is better than anything pre code is red.
I LOVE Pantera, but I also LOVE the Pantera HATE in this channel it is funny shit. However it's easy for Dawg's Pantera diatribes to bounce of me, due to the fact that he adores the likes of Deicide and Mortician, two bands that are monuments to monotony, redundancy and mediocrity. Pantera stood out - in a good way, and the Hoffman bros don't have even a fraction of the talent and charisma that Dimebag had.
@@distributorovkvlt-points5481 the problem with Pantera are their fans that just need to constantly push the band onto others because to those fans, Pantera is the heaviest band ever. They were fine and I don’t mind hearing them every now and then but goddamn some assholes just incessantly talk about them like some little girl talking nonstop about their favorite emo band.
J Dawg I think it would be sick If Corpsegrinder teamed up with Monstrosity and they performed imperial doom front to back on a 30 year anniversary tour. Thoughts??????
I listened to the entire Fearless Undead Machines on my way to a job site yesterday. On the way home when I was feeling tired. I listened to Kataklysm Sorcery and Temples of Knowledge
I only give CC some slack since they're working with a newer guitarist who's not only got his own band, but also a recording studio, so they're limited to what he's got time to learn from their back catalog...Erik is an amazing player, but Pat wrote some seriously difficult parts for any guitarist to learn
Speaking of cc song requests someone should put the song titles on the price tags in the clearance section at target I am pretty sure George will catch on and do it for the fans
Close one, close as it gets really. I'd side with Terminator, by the slimmest of margins. How about that remake 6 or 7 years ago, was that half-baked or what?
J-Dawg, not really related to this video but kinda surprised you don't dig slam. Many, including myself, consider Molesting the Decapitated the first bonafide slam album meaning a genre based on the Liege of Inveracity riff. The wigger image is admittedly dumb but the late 90s/early 2000s stuff is so much fun.
Got my latest HHR package today, awesome records and packaging as always. Been buying from you guys since 05-06 and I'm that poouseerrr that saves all business cards, promo shit, new release flyers concert flyers etc. Have boxes full, I noticed you guys haven't done any in a while or at least I haven't gotten any except for the killer new vol 10 promo. Did you guys find its not worth printing that stuff anymore??
@@aegisraven1284 LOL There's that great sense of humor once again. Do you drink vinegar everyday? What do you drink when you're plumb outta vinegar, your own piss? You da' man GED Raven!!!😁😁👍👍
To be fair, this is the first time I've ever seen anyone mention getting fucked by J-Dawg...Although there was one guy that asked if J-Dawg had an onlyfans. 🤘😂
Hey JDawg since you have refused to make an entire episode about taking dumps, I have ordered my friends in certain agencies to block your videos in the algorithm so your regular viewers don’t see your videos even if they are looking for them. Make a video about taking dumps in different venues and the moratorium will be lifted.
@spectral visage Nah man, a true Misfits fan owns Kryst the Conqueror. If you don't have that in your collection you are a straight up Misfits poooosssseeerrr
@@dinkins335 Not at all. But they’re really stiff. They’re pretty small. I used to use really thick Clayton picks when I first started. Then went to some super thick ass Dunlop pick. Then around 25yrs ago. A buddy gave me a Jazz 3. I never went back. They’re thin, and firm. I go back and forth between the red and black ones. I don’t put much thought in to it. I think the red are nylon tipped
I really can’t get into anything bareny greenway sings on. His voice is nails on a chalk board for me, that being said the first benediction and harmony corruption are the closest records he’s on I like. But the grand leveler and transcending the rubicon are 2 of the best death metal records ever in my book. BENEDICTION RULES
I remember being at a vader show.... shouting so mercilessly for them to play " this is the war" .... they took notice... " ok ok" 😂🤣.... and I shouted mercilessly for marduk to play "on darkened wings" till they noticed 😂
*TOURING* is primarily decided by booking agencies, *MONEY!* which venues are promising the most, and or fan analytics mostly.... I live in southern California and I've seen bands go up to northern California ( san Jose, San Francisco etc) and far south like San Diego but *NEVER* touch.... los angeles county! Heck even orange county
Carcass should contact you too. They played 0 songs from symphonies of sickness last night and had horrible sound quality. Obituary only played 1 song from cause of death too which is a complete travesty.
I enjoyed the latest Immolation album, but making their current setlist very Acts of God-heavy is a huge mistake. Especially when it does not come close to being as good as their past material.
i wish Cannibal would they play Monolith or Bloodrenched Execution but I met Corpsegrinder and asked him about BDE and he said they have never played it live and that i probably could sing it better then him at this point
i hate when bands skip town im in the bay area so theres plenty of venues in Oakland, S. F, & San Jose but sometimes they skip it . theyll play in L. A. then go to Sacramento. weak as fuck when that happens
