Move to ‘AutoCrat Training’
Populate an additional row in the spreadsheet including an email you can check.
Install Autocrat to the Spreadsheet
Select Extensions, AddOns, Get Addons
Search for Autocrat
Install it - go through the process/steps
Set up the AutoCrat Merge Instructions
First, Select Extensions, Autocrat, Open
Step 1: Select New Job & Give it a Name ‘Autocrat Demo’
Select NEXT
Step 2: Choose the Template
Select From Drive
Select the ‘Employee Certificate”
Select Next
Step 3. Map Source Data to Template
Next, Select Merge Tab, Sheet 1
Map Fields to Match
Select Next
Step 4: Files Settings
Add the 'last name' file so each file will get a unique name identifier. Important!
Add File Name: Certificate Demo
Type: PDF (usually)
Step 5: Important! Select a destination folder
Create this in advance. If you get to this step and you have not, save and close Autocrat, create a folder, and then return to Autocrat to select the folder.
Step 6: Skip ‘dynamic folder’
Step 7: Skip merge condition
Step 8: Share docs YES & set up email
Step 9: Add/Remove Job Triggers
Run on form trigger? Automate?
Run on time trigger? Every day?
Save your Job
Test Out Preview
Select the Preview button
Select Preview for the first mergeable row
Check your email & merge certificate
Make adjustments as needed.
