Yes I agree, can play 6 and 8. 6’2 left footed everything close to what we miss with xhaka there in the midfield. Merino, Calafiori, N Williams, Onana would be perfect business. Get Gabriel contract extended, and if we get Nelson, Eddie, ramsdale and Kiwor (even though I’d prefer him to stay over zinny) maybe even go for Gyokeres

Why hasn’t anybody talked about Charlie Patino finally getting integrated and him playing that left sided number 8 where Xhaka was He’s a way better crosser of the ball then merino we miss that from Xhaka he has a high footballing IQ still very young he’s good defensively if you’ve watched him on loan you can see that and he isn’t small at all he’s 6ft tall I really believe Patino is not only ready to come and play for us wherever it be as a squad player FOR NOW or even warming up and getting ready to start in that position but as of right now looks like arteta doesn’t even want to keep the guy or give him a chance for that matter

The fans complaining about us not accepting the first bid that comes in for players we’re looking to move on are probably the same ones who criticise us for being too soft in the transfer window. Am glad we’re digging our heels in over Eddie’s price as we get the same from clubs we do business with all the time. He’s young, English and a good quality target for a certain bracket of clubs in the PL so why not demand more?

Forget NW, it looks like he's not going anywhere. Pursue Dani Olmo instead, he's a market opportunity and you don't want him going to City as KDB replacement. Calafiori, Merino and Olmo is a very good market activity. Pedro Neto or Fede Chiesa would be great also but is not a must.

Arsenal's rise has been brilliant, but next year we have to start rotating the squad. We just don't give anyone on the bench a real chance anymore. Why are we clinging on to players only to see them rot on the bench. Are we really going to spend £50m on Olmo and £200k a week for him to sit on the bench watching Odegard? We were getting the best out of players like smith rowe because we were constantly rotating players. City do it with theirs, actually shift 3 or 4 players around so that everyone gets 80% of a season. We must get a saka backup and we must start using them!

I’d take Merino for 25m, obviously he’s looked good recently. It worries me tho that he’s struggled in the Prem before and didn’t really do well at Dortmund either. Olmo is obviously a baller, I’m not sure he’s something we need tho. Kvara would be a phenomenal signing, he’s really that guy, but I think his fee would be close to 100m (more than Osimhen). I think it’s pretty clear we should do whatever it takes to sign either (or both 😂) of Williams & Simons.

Personal terms have been agreed. Its about the fee because calafiori original club fc Basel have a 50% sell on clause. So it's needs to be negotiated among 3 parties. It's basic business.

We needed Bruno from Newcastle. These choices are all the same Arsenal signings as always. We need a strong midfielder with finesse. Merino to me is mediocre, I don’t see why you would pay over 50mil for him honestly.
