YES every word about AMSOIL her is true i used it on my 2002 Ford Crown V and also on 2014 GMC Sierra . both had an shifting slip and some bad shifitng spicially Sierra truck ... this oils like a magic .... now this is the only company that i trust

@Supreme Overseer Signature Series for performance with the transmission definitely. I would read on our ATF page at oilordering.com about the flushing procedure. But begin the conventional way by draining, changing the filter then topping off with our ATF (correct for that year). Then after a few thousand miles you can either keep going or do a complete flush changing out the filter and fluid entirely. The procedure is in a PDF on this link near the bottom of the page. But due to the age I recommend mild steps - the drain and top off first. Have a 2012 Toyota Tacoma. did a complete Amsoil change, Eng. ,Transmission (Automatic) and Differential and even power steering fluid, i would advise anyone that does this, make damn sure you drop your Trans pan, replace the filter, after you have used the transmission flush, and run thru all the gears including reverse multiple times while the flush product is still in. 15-20 min. drain the transmission and watch the Witches brew come out, Why Amsoil doesn't promote their flush product is beyond me, as it does a supreme job. Engine and transmission. regardless , you must get All the flush out, so after new filter and pan have been installed , pour several quarts 4-5 into your fill tube, disconnect the transmission return line from the transmission cooler (Most cars) or to the return line back to the transmission after it is disconnected, connect a clear plastic flexible tube to the out put of the cooler or return line and run into a catch pan. have several quarts of trans fluid open and ready to pour. have a secondary helper start the car and have them run the gears back and forth while you are constantly adding new fluid. You will immediately see the old dark fluid pass out of the torque converter and transmission, Continue this until you see a steady flow of pure red fluid and stop immediately and shut of engine. reconnect transmission line .Top off after it has set 15-20 min or so and should be cool enough to read in the cold mark of your dip stick depending on the ambient. wait longer if you wanna be xtra sure. As previously stated, I changed all fluids to Amsoil.Took a drive down the interstate aprox 40 -50 miles and my truck ran as if it were brand new, had to look at the tach to confirm the engine was running, The shifting of the transmission was incredible,unbelievably smooth. The final verdict is: FACT! i am now getting almost an extra quarter of a tank in savings per fill. talked with an Amsoil Tech, and plainly stating that "You are experiencing a huge reduction of the coefficient of friction. So do the math if you think Amsoil is exspen$ive.

I would assume the (Step 1) would be to remove the trans drain plug which should drain about 2-3 quarts of fluid, (Step 2) next you can drop the pan to clean it out and change the filter, (Step 3) reinstall pan with new gasket, (Step 4) add same amount that was removed on initial drain back into to trans fill hole. (Step 5) and below would be to start the process of draining from the front line, fill , repeat. Can you restate step by step? I'm confused.
After your pan and filter has been correctly installed. pour in 5,6 quarts. Then remove the 'RETURN line usually located at the top of your Trans . cooler. Install a clear tube, and aim it towards a 5 gal. bucket. have 6 qts of fluid opened and ready to pour, with your buddy in the front seat , start engine (Wheels cocked) and have him run through all the gears and while continuing to pour.... fluid in. you will see all the dark crap come out of the return line , and once it turns bright red stop! shut off engine, reattach trans return line and top of fluid on level surface and preferably when cool. Now all the garbage is out ,what most people cant deal with. ain't hard good luck!
How many miles did you have on your 2012 Tacoma when you added the Amsoil flush? Was this the first time the ATF was ever changed? I have some on the TacomaWorld forum advising me "not" to use any type of tranny flush additive, much less Amsoil. They advise to simply flush and refill with new ATF, nothing more.
As I recall the blue fluid is for low-friction versions of the 722.9 which started production in 2010-2011 timeframe. Look for an A89 build code on the build card, this indicates the low-friction version of the 722.9 transmission was installed in the car. The blue stuff (236.15) is NOT backward compatible for regular friction 722.9's or any 722.6. The 236.14 red stuff is fully backward compatible for any 722.6 and
Yes - this is an old video so the customer must use the online look-up to check compatibly. I agree - and the Red is generally the way to go when there is doubt especially on Chrysler. The ATF line gets more updates than the other products and the OE ones may not meet the same specifications. I need to re-make this video..

I have had anxiety about replacing the Toyota Type 4 ATF with Amsoil Signiture Series Multi-Vehicle Full-Synthetic ATF on my 2006 Sienna. I drove the van for 50 minutes between each drain and fill to circulate the fluid in and out the the torque converter. I completed three drain and fills and I plan on doing the fourth drain and fill a year from now with an ATF filter replacement.
Years ago I would pump out all fluid possible from dipstick tube and then replace the exact amount with fresh fluid, over time and several oil changes the fluid was renewed. Can I gradually switch over with Amsoil in this manner?

@@trackpackgt877 had purchased a 2005 lincoln town car with 63,000 mi.and repaired transmission with year warranty- it went out and had to be rebuilt. For now the tranny is their baby but as soon as warranty expires will be switching it over. MAGA !
I still have some warranty on my 2015 Cadillac SRX, which requires Dexron 6 for ATF. Will Amsoil Signature Series Fuel-Efficient ATF keep my warranty intact?
Yes - for a 2015 as long as you see it on the look-up guide nothing can be negated for using that. Now the caveat is if you have an extended warranty which specifies an exact brand and you signed that agreement. But manufacturers warranty - no issue.

It's me (my other account) - Yes - that is true but for the customer it remain optional. If you have a good solid and clean transmission the new version (AMSOIL ATL or OTL blue cap) is fine and will give better fuel economy. If you have a LOT of miles 180,000 plus or just a tired transmission I would not use the new formulation. Use the AMSOIL ATF (ATF or OTF - Mercon V) with the red cap.

I would use the ATL (High Efficiency) Signature Series - that way you can go longer as well.. Use the look-up guide to see the listing for that but call me for the best price. It depends on how sludged up or abused the trans is. AMSOIL does guarantee it will not be the cause of any failure due to normal operating conditions and that the product will test out for the OEM interval as exceeding the requirements.. Sir amsoil has mentioned mb 236.15 on ATF sadly it is not compatible with 236.15 as 236.15 oil should be in blue color and amsoil is red so kindly delete 236.15 on label and stop scaming
No scam - this is old material but I definitely will look into this. There very well could be a frictional property it reaches into for non-worn clutch plates. To really know I suggest calling Tech and letting them know what your know - 715-399-TECH

This video is older but the new bottles do have that 100% clearly. The OE transmission fluids are some type of blend just as OEM synthetics as that is to compete on price while still out performing.

Im asking about transmision fluid because GM likes to control their market, but GM contracts the fluids out to lowest bid, who knows what your getting, I know ones who religously use amsoil on trans and their racing it with significant success. I just want to be careful amsoil does make a dextron 6 I like their personal commitment to quality.
+Ancient History Personally Ive done the homework Toyota does good work I believe their fluids are good, but if you were to study the additives Amsoil is a higher performing oil I csn give you some imformation you would find valuable but youll have fun doing the study.
+Ancient History For your imformation Toyota fluids rate as castrol oil if that makes you happy good. make sure you change every 3 thousand because Toyota fluids oxidize easily. and leave in your engine. I want better than that. Do some homework.
I hope people do their research - licensing is a scam to scam royalties for a name. Means nothing and has no effect on warranties. Stick with the OEM if you want to pay more with limited performance which isn't updated any more than a 5 year period. Put the year make and model in on AMSOIL's site and you will see it is spec'd.
I did. Bought 10 quarts Amsoil sig series multi vehicle synthetic for $155 replaced my 68rfe fluid with a pan drop change and the next day the trans ran 10 degrees hotter went to dodge bought 12 quarts atf+4 for $106 and was able to evacuate 3 quarts a day from the dip stick tube and what do you know my temps are back to what they always been. That’s my real world research and my conclusion is Amsoil does not work in a 68rfe.
Those are not interchangeable and they are products for specific transmissions calling for that specification. Racing which has no warranty and CVT which is strictly a lubricant for CVT transmissions. Not much else to report outside of racing testimonials which would be in a future video.
