I had my first shave with the 37c tonight, and I was shocked how well it shaved. I used my favorite blade that I use in my 34c, the Nacet. This razor is smooth and efficient, one of my favorites now. Simply stunning. WOW !

There's no better feeling then a shave with products that are firing on all cylinders. That's more addictive then any bbs chase. Great chat CDB

Great review as always. Thank you for your efforts to represent us new products. I ordered a 37C today, i hope it will arrive in a few days. Looking forward to trying 37C. Arko is not my favourite soap, but it always has a place in my den because Arko is my national soap :) Happy shaves.

Arko is just an excellent soap. My wife loves the smell. I wish there was an aftershave with the same smell.

I also enjoy my Merkur 37c, not a daily driver though. Arko and Pinaud are also equally good. Didn't have much luck with a version of personna blades (one in red and blue plastic boxes) but blue ones from US are good. Great video again Chris.

Isn’t it crazy how subjective blade preference is? You wouldn’t think this to be the case but it is. A blade that works fantastic for one user may be terrible for another.

Bought mine at Hyvee... Smells like murphys oil.. I can't bring myself to put it to my face and shave..it's just trash...

The turks have a commercial laundry type soap bar called Duru. Widely used in the old country. Arko is 100% the same smell, but different ingredients obviously.

I wanted to try the slant out without having to spend a ton and went with the Razorock slant for I think it was $16. I love it and since I now know I like slant razors I'm willing to try more expensive ones. Razorock makes some fantastic razors. My favorite though from them is actually the "old type" open comb head. That thing gives smooth shaves for me and I have sensitive skin with coarse hair.

Hey Christopher I just did a trade with my buddy Angelo for a 37C. Believe it or not this will be my very first Merkur Razor in my Shave Den! Now I have the three most efficient Safety Razors in my Den. Muhle R-41 RedTip SuperSpeed Merkur 37C

I use some Argan Oil as a pre shave. Works wonders Chris.

That works well for many people. Some vendors used to sell soaps that contained argan oil but I don't hear as much about it anymore.

I have a 37c and thayers cucumber set to arrive tomorrow. It’s funny I happened upon this video where you use both. Also I recommend transferring the clubman to a glass container. I’ve noticed it makes it smell better.

IAMCDB I originally did it because I simply like having the glass bottles on my counter, I think it looks nice. Transferred the label and everything. But with that I noticed that initial kinda skunky smell went away in the glass. Everyone’s nose picks up the scent a little different so at the least, the glass looks cool, I think 😎 I ordered 200ml glass flasks off Amazon Incase you’re seriously interested. Take care!

I can't go ATG on my neck and below the chin with the Wilkinson Sword Classic(black version). I wonder if I can go ATG with the Merkur 37c on those areas.
