"How does she do that?" She's a Goddess, simple as that. Of course, many years of hard work to be the best you can be might have something to do with it as well.
When you stopped to talk about Marko around 4:40 I felt so much sincerity... it brought me to tears. He will always be a big part of the Nightwish magic.
Thank you. And I realize that I didn't get his name right and I'm sorry for that. People have spelt it out for me phonetically but I know I'd never get the accent right so I doubt I'll try it. And I can't roll my "r's" but I really did deeply enjoy this performance and have a huge amount of respect for him.
You should react to Tommy Johansson The leadguitarist in Sabaton and his cower of O holy night His voice is amacing Tommy is also the guy behind the music behind a lot of Floors cowers He is cracy talented
Also worth watching and listening to Floor singing Oh Holy Night in Finnish when six months pregnant at one of these concerts. Enjoy. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ym1Wc5dmUYc.html
Merry Christmas, Brandon. I would have requested this had I known nobody else did. Anything from Raskasta Joulua is great. If no one else has requested Christmas Truce by Sabaton(music video), I recommend it. Sabaton drummer, Hannes Van Dahl, is Floor's husband. And Happy 46th birthday to Tuomas Holopainen today, Christmas Day.
Pronunciations? Go to translate, select Finnish, type Marko Hietala and click on the listen button. It works with a lot of names like Tampere, Tuomas Holopainen, Emppu Vuorinen, …
"How does she do that"?? 😁 it's totally insane, but she's been doing this since she was 18🤣😮(please check out her first video clip (After Forever-Emphasis, baby Floor doing Floor things 😁😍)
This song is special! To see Floor and Marko singing together is always a treat. Plus, this song is forever in my Christmas playlist ! Happy Holidays 🤘🎅🤘. NWSU.
Marco takes lead on Kiss While Your Lips are Still Red from Wembley, the Islander, High Hopes (Pink Floyd cover), with Tarja on Phantom of the Opera, and also on his own on Master Passion Greed, The Voice of My Father, and the demo of Poet and the Pendulum (Tarja was just fired at the time and Anette not yet brought on)....
Merry Christmas. Thanks a lot for your moving reaction. Glad you added this experience to this holiday season. I have heard it many times before but it still gets me. Great to share this experience with someone who feels as deep as you do. Lots of love from the Netherlands. 🌲🕯️♥️
Thank you so much for including Floor and Marko in your holiday music. I love this video, have it on a playlist, and have listened to it over and over. I just wish they'd sung a verse together. It always makes me smile to see them all dressed up in their finery and Marko is barefoot. Best wishes for a lovely 2023.
If it's not too late to add reaction requests for songs related to Christmas, here are Marko Hietala and JP Leppäluoto performing three Finnish Christmas songs in one video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lrv4Tio0XlU.html (but you'll find each of them separately on the same channel as well so if you want to react to just one of these songs, I would recommend this link instead ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YNl3rzXTkqw.html ).
For more Marko definitely High Hopes (Pink Floyd cover) and The Phantom of the Opera, both from End of an Era concert, when Tarja was still the lead singer. Both are must sees.
That’s first time you hear Marko singing? Maybe you didn’t react to some of the good songs of Nightwish with lead singer Marko: The Islander (live from Tampere), While your lips are still red (live from Wembley)… 👍‼️🏆
Some technical info. Floor is singing the Latin part in clean head voice, classical but still not fully operatic (thank God), and with the English part she switches into what we could call "chest dominated mix", which sounds very breathy and poppy. However, when she has to hit those higher notes, she cuts off all the breathiness and transitions into cleaner mix or head voice - because hitting high notes with a lot of power and a lot of breath escaping through the vocal chords is simply unsafe. The change has nothing to do with the language. What about Marko? Nothing. I think this song requires a more classical style of singing and I don't like what he's doing here. Avē Flōra, grātiā plēna!
Your reactions are always genuine and well done, but man you need to correct a few things. First this is not Nightwish it is Floor and Marko. Secondly, I've noticed a couple of times you assume things about singers or bands and state them as more or less fact. When you introduced Rosalee to Nightwish you made several statements that were wrong and because of that mislead her about who did what. Far too many reactors don't research the band after their first listen and just assume things they read are accurate - example Jukka did not have a migraine during the performance of High Hopes by Marko but many think he did due to false statements. He is seen in that performance leaning down to his toms he was actually just muting them and briefly resting. I'm only suggesting you need to get details right on things like this title and when you don't know something be very clear that you are guessing at who does what or repeating something you read in a comment. I like your reactions because they are genuine, excitement and joy is real, and many other positives. I just suggest you try to avoid making significant errors like this title. You would have been perfectly fine saying "Ava Maria performed Floor Jansen & Marko Hitela of Nightwish" or something similar ... it would have gotten you the search results while not unintentionally misleading people. It is significant that the musicians behind them are not Nightwish. As for your reaction ... that part as always was well done.
For me Dimash is boring after one listening. He may have one of the best voices, but imo he definitely isn't one of the best performers. I feel it's more show, then it comes from his heart. While I can appreciate and admire his vocal capabilities, I am sure he never will be one of my favorite artists.
@@huubdonkersteeg2408 that's the thing. Technic is great but the ability to live the song and bring that out is something completely different. It requires depth and maturity.
