The s stands for "slide" (as in apply the slide button), this arrangement is for a 16 hole chromatic harmonica in the key of C using standard tuning. For example the chromatic scale from holes 1 to 4 would be: +1 (C) +1s (C#) -1 (D) -1s (D#) +2 (E) -2 or +2s (F) -2s (F#) +3 (G) +3s (G#) -3 (A) -3s (A#) -4 (B) -4s or +4 (C) Hope that makes sense :)
