Today we have a rig that is specifically built to catch you Dover Sole.
You will need
In-line weight
Size 4 hooks but up to a 1 is fine
Crimps
Beads
Swivel
Snood swivel
Trace material 80lb
Snood material 30lb
Lead Link clip
Grip weight

I like the look of that rig but don’t think we get Dover sole up here in Scotland lol but a another well presented video till next one take care

Now that I can’t answer, I think they are more of a south eastern/English Channel fish. But times are changing so give it a few years and they may just come up north.

I have only used this on the boat, however I believe it would also work on the beach. Just have a small inline weight as to not effect casting. I would imagine distance wouldn’t be the best as the back lead may hold it back a little
