Freedom is fragile and I found out first hand when I found myself in a jail cell in Myrtle Beach, SC. Apparently according to the police, I was not wanted living in their neighborhood, this Puerto Rican from the South Bronx, veteran and Manhattan College graduate who spent his life trying to help others in social service and child welfare. My crime? Defending myself and cursing out the people who have been disrespecting me and making my life a living hell since I moved here. My crooked southern lawyer wanted me to write a letter of apology. I didn't. The judge dismissed the case.
#1 Did "defending yourself" involve acts of violence inflicted onto another citizen ? #2 Disrespecting you is not a crime. #3 You should have ONLY been arrested for a physical confrontation or the immediate and pending threat of same. #4 Seems like we are not getting the full story here.
@@lisachuck999 They handcuffed me as I came out of the house. I had to ask what I was arrested for in the police car as I was going to jail. The cop said using profanity. That was the charge. I didn't threaten anyone. In fact, the lady who called the police had her Great Dane mixed, attacked me as I was getting my mail two weeks earlier. Up until then they had repeatedly harassed me, called me names, vandalized my house (reported), attacked me with their dogs and called the police on me for running through their neighborhood in broad daylight, and stretching on my porch. They told the police someone was trying to break into my house.

(I would hope not). #3 And, for the record, any person that was born in those countries and would come here to visit or stay would be known as ......... ?? Yes, got they would be known as IMMIGRANTS. #4 Who specifically are kicking out ? Canadians ?NO #5 People from Europe ??
