Hey Devin! Thanks for another great video. I'm looking at getting the Fryette PS100 in the next couple weeks with a Barefaced Audio 112FR to use with my Quad Cortex. I think it should be a stellar combo.
I was looking at that as well at one point. The cabinet structure is very interesting. Unfortunately no video is going to express the real sound of a cabinet and it relying on how good the IR's are. I do have my doubts about it only because I like to compare to real cabs and amps. BUTTTTT I bet it does a stellar job!!!! Let me know how it goes for sure!!!
@DeathMetalDevin I'll be sure to send my thoughts once I get it all set-up. I've got a buddy with Two Rock and Gjika amps that I want to capture... hoping the PS100 can do some stellar work on those captures.
Awesome - love these! I was quite sure A was real and B was cortex, based on my IRL experience but it may have just been a different performance (not reamped di?) than B. Often the captures have less dynamic range and less 'movement' in the low end.
They are all different performances except for the reveal which are the same as the hidden ones in order. A win for the Quad Cortex! Thanks for checking it out!
