The Skeletonized stocks are over rated. My brother is a USMC DI and Rangemaster. The collapsible stocks are constantly visiting the Armory with problems. I bought one though, sold the stock for $500 and got a fixed stock. Made the price of the M4 more tolerable and the buyer feel Tacti-Cool. 👍
Two things about this stock: 1. The pistol grip cover came off under heavy use. I used epoxy (JB Weld to refasten it) 2. Now the entire stock loosened....the bolt holing the stock in place loosened. I was going to Loctite the bolt in but I have lost confidence in the unit. I've had enough so that I put the three position adjustable stock back on. Cheap is cheap!
I dare you to put the trigger group back into the gun with the Urbino stock in place. I am finding I have to loosen the stock way u pand move it back in order to get the trigger group in.
That sling plate that goes in between the stock & the receiver are you able to flip it around so the sling attachment is on the other side for left handed shooters?
None taken. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It does what I wanted/needed to do with it, so it works for my needs. I'm definitely a function over fashion kind of guy.
No problem! I want to say it was around $1900 plus tax. Of course the extra parts were additional costs, but of course that is up to the end user. So far I love it. It's super comfortable, balanced well, has plenty of capacity, and has been battle proven. The operation is a bit different than a lot of other shotguns out there, which takes getting used to, but it's a lot different than most other shotguns so that is to be expected.
How sturdy is the cheek riser? It seems that the front part would move around a bit since it is not supported by anything. Im leaning more towards non cheek riser version
It's not bad from what I can tell. You aren't usually applying a ton of force in that direction when shooting and it's actually a pretty strong piece of plastic. It feels like glass reinforced injection molding, so I'd expect it to hold up to just about anything short of a car running it over... that might actually need to be a video idea: durability testing the stock.
I got the urbino with the cheek rise. So far very happy with the quality and sturdiness. I also got a cheap vortex venom to test out a red dot on a shotgun. Should be interesting. Thanks again
I think the rubber pistol grip on the urbino stock sucks ass with its flat back design. You can change it out to a beneli rubber grip. I did it to my beretta 1301 urbino stock and it made a huge difference in comfort.
So far, so good. It's super comfortable, balances the gun nicely, and I haven't had any issues with it so far. I'm a firm believer that if you use something long enough and hard enough it will eventually fail no matter the manufacturer or product, but mine has been fine. We actually carry them ourselves, but I know they are available quite a few places online.
@@PrecisionTKS it’s a very well-made product. I did not get to shoot my M4 yet, but I also unfortunately I live in the communist state of New York, and I had to make the shotgun 922r compliant. But as far as Quality goes it’s a very well made product I also have the Mesa tactical Truckee hand guard I was not at all impressed with the product as they say you get what you pay for did you change yours as of yet and what product did you decide to go with?
I haven't changed mine yet actually. As of right now it's between the Briley and Agency. I'll honestly probably go with whichever one is available first when I'm ready to upgrade.
@@PrecisionTKS agency also makes a good product but I don’t know if they’re American made I’m almost certain they are it’s unfortunate where I live we have a Lot lot of law-enforcement and they’re pretty good people I don’t know where you live. I had put these parts on because I extended the magazine extension tube from the stock tube and I had to change out three parts
