Great job on the videos and coverage. I’m sure James is looking down and smiling seeing you do this. You are all doing a great job!!! I have a 15 year old daughter and I hope I can do half as well Raising her like James did you!
I must have missed something. They indicated this was the first reciprocating shotgun. The John Browning design, Browning Auto-5 shotgun produced by Fabrique Nationale, went into production in 1902.
Same... But I wish it was a boxed drum instead. It would hold a lot more rounds. The Gen-12 drums are only going to hold 15 rounds which is only 3 more than regular mags w/ 2+ extension.
Just a heads up, you might want to blur the muzzle device being taken off and the silencer going on. Gun channels on RU-vid are getting strikes left and right for that right now.
@@PR3M3 because RU-vid is anti-2A. They will do anything they can to mess with gun related channels. At the time this video went up they were calling anything and everything "manufacturing" a firearms to strike it. They've since backed off a bit.
3:00 important information about the Genesis Gen 12 3:28 15 round drum releases quarter 3 of 2023. 0:00 restart from beginning. My question, why not 30 round drum? 15 is extremely low capacity. Kinda disappointed. But besides that I’m excited.
Good to see you stepping in. Kudos. This is an interesting platform. It would be nice to see these guys do a double stack 12 GA mag - or a 'stack and a half' to shorten the overall length of the mags. Really like the '308 upper' Idea.
I've got one on order. Just waiting for it to come back from cerakote. Then file with them that shall not be named. So good chance there will be one at way of shotgun this year.
LOVE this......but truth be told, I have firearms using both Keymod and MLock and I gotta say, the Keymod is vastly superior in just about every way. Keymod is far easier to attach and detach everything you put on your firearm with no downside. MLock is extremely difficult in comparison to attach or remove anything, and it doesn't hold your attachments any more securely. About the only downside, if you think it is one, is that you have a bunch of cock-n-balls on your firearm. :)
I heard the exact opposite - that M-Lok is far superior for retaining anything that requires a zero to be maintained, and that KeyMod is filmsy as hell.
@@spdcrzy I have handguards with both and have used both professionally. I've only had things come loose on the M-Lok ones. I don't know what other people have experienced.
Best shotgun that’s i have shots But please make a metal mag polymer mag is jam alot. Anyway thank you for such an amazing shotguns i was able to shoot 5shot in 1.01 sec >
@@SlavicCinnamonRollie556 - so they haven't put an actual ban on handguns.. just a freeze so you can't buy or transfer handguns right now. Anyone who had a transfer submitted before the date it went into affect is still being processed. I have a out another week to go until I get my Smith & Wesson m&p 2.0 9mm... The prime minister announced the freeze months in advance so he resulted in the largest sales boom of handguns lol.. but even with all the sales. 85% of the gun crime in the province of Ontario is done by illegal handguns smuggled in from the US.
@@SlavicCinnamonRollie556 - As far as the semis go, they banned a lot of the more commonly known ones.. you can still get some like the type 81 SA which is a semi auto 7.62 round and a few Kodiak 5.56 models as well as a couple others. The Liberal government doesn't even know what to ban or why. They try to say it will be based on definition, but then they don't even know the definition of stuff they're trying to put into place. Oh and there is still a bunch of semi auto shotguns around for sale still too. Government is a bunch of complete idiots.
As much as I love the John Wick franchise... It is funny that they essentially became ads for Tarrant Tactical, Benelli, Glock and more... "Product Placement" has been a great way to generate revenue for Film Makers to fund their movies. ;)
How many manufacturers make a reciprocating barrel? Doesn't sig have at least one too? What has the testing proved? How "easy" is it to fix and maintain? Love the idea, just get nervous of proprietary.
I agree with the young lady, that's pretty fuckin cool! I love that John Wick shotty. If it's not too expensive, I'll be picking up one of those for the home.
Hmmm. I have an 18 inch upper and it is in mlok not keymod…I think I have one of the early generations. No threaded barrel either. It still my favorite shotgun tho
Love how Cody makes it a point to never flag her as he shuffles the various guns. Love my IWI TS12 but Ill be damned if Genesis doesnt make some drool worthy shotguns!
They still have not addressed the manual feed issue. After 15 shots and you drop the magazine, you can't load the weapon without reloading the magazine or carrying another one or another drum.
Man I'm loving what these companies are doing with the Shotguns nowadays that's a bad ass Shotgun.... shooting 15 rounds of bear killing Slugs ain't no joke
First of all that was a great interview but you forgot the main question price price price I'm definitely getting that job with shotgun when it comes out
So it works almost exactly like the Turkish options that after break in run fine with proper ammo. However the use of buffer moves it more to the AR platform direction most know. To the ladies question, no there are many magazine fed shotguns operating on recoil.
