Completely amazed by the sound of this advanced aircraft engine of the mighty German Luftwaffe Messerschmidt Bf 109G-14 with original Benz V12 DB 605 engine!
I can't stop listening to that technical marvel from Daimler-Benz, such a gorgeous sound! What makes that aircraft even more fearsome are the exhaust pipes, a shape like shark teeth!
Great vlog, love the audio . Nose spinner looks amazing in flight. Used to talk with General G Rall when he came to US for symposiums . He said 109 was his favorite bird
What a fantastic sounding engine. I bet this dude is a fast flyer also. The G-14 is a looker too. Fast sleek styling. Thanks for sharing the awesome 109 with us.
Danke für das Video. So ist es möglich, immer wieder aktuelle Aufnahmen dieser bärenstarken Oldies zu sehen. Mit den original Motoren zudem ein besonderer Eindruck.
30 years ago I had a neighour in Chilliwack, BC , Canada, whose father was a Colonel-General in charge of Supply for the Luft5waffe in 1940, and he showed me photos his father had taken of the Rolls-Royce Merlins that Packard was building for the RAF, RAAF and the RCAF and on the next line over were the Daimler-Benz DB605 V-12s for the Luftwaffe, this line was active until December 7, 1941 when the United States government stopped all production of war materials for Germany, this included both Ford and General Motors trucks too. His father was forced to commit suicide and the failed assassination of Hitler.
Definitely one of my favorite aircraft!! Such a GREAT looking airplane!! Thanks for sharing this AMAZING footage with us! Much respect and support from Yuma, AZ. 👍👍
،one of the scariest and most hair raising sound of the engine. Bf109 is really powerfull and Great I will never forget this sound of this aircraft it is different from any Fighter in ww2! I'm very happy that such a channel show us this beautiful video. Best of all messerschmitt bf109G14 is flying with german pilots in the Germany Hungar 10. Thx for the video 👏👏👍👌
@@Warbirds so I know but I want to know more if the DB-605DM inverted V12 that in the G versions of messerschmitts has Same sound and startup sound as the DB-601N V12 in the emil version or same the bf109 (E) versions is it different or is it a little degrading?
I bet gunners had to be so stressed under fire no spinner could distract them, imagine all the screaming and noise aboard, nothing else but shoot, shoot. I rather think like SQR.
It must have been in a crate or in a derelict state for many decades. The number of overhauls would depend on the recent era hours flown and the overhaul interval agreed with the German Aviation Authority. The original time before overhaul with parts crippled by the wartime blockade metallurgy must have been in the low to mid tens of hours. (A modern O-360 would get 2,000+ hours depending on pilot abuse).
