Watching this as someone who graduated from culinary school/works as a line cook for the most part this is so accurate (with some few exceptions) but the .75 cent raise is pretty accurate. I’ve been at my job for almost 2 years and when I put in the request for a raise I was told the most they could give me was .25, .50 cents at the most
Screw restaurants; I’ve had the best luck working in country clubs. In addition to Ala carte, there’s also a lot of banquets during the summer and holidays, so there’s plenty of overtime.
When u miss a meal u tend to lose energy & focus but if u overeat then u will most likely pass out. Thats y at my job if I do eat it will be a light snack just to get some sugar in my system

I went to through a culinary schooling program at a vocational high school and this was exactly what it was like for 4 fucking years. Pranks, smoking, and tryna our best to survive the day 🤣then I worked at a restaurant for a good while and it was the same too good times
