So I knows you live in Utah, and there’s a furniture store called Living spaces furniture my husband works there and there’s a store in Scottsdale AZ, I know it’s a long drive but you can go pick out your furniture and it can be ready that moment as long as it’s in stock! I love how honest and authentic you are about how overwhelming cleaning is. I've cried because I realize my home has gotten away from me... so what I do is: throw on a Netflix or hulu show and clean with it on... it always helps!

My favourite emoji is 😇 a little tip for how I keep my dresser clean from not being the catch all space is if there is anything there I will go ahead and clean it up. Or I will set a timer for 5 or 10 minutes to clean it up so it will never get messy. These methods have helped me so much the past 2-3 years. Love your videos.

We just redid our kitchen and I chose a deep split sink because I like to have a side to soak dishes or thaw meat and a separate side to rinse etc. I love watching people wash dishes by hand. I find that relaxing!!!

Thanks for another motivation video! Speaking of tips to avoid the cluttered surfaces, what works for me is "don't put it down, put it away". It saves a lot of extra trips to replace the items that don't belong on that surface. Happy cleaning!

I'm usually a silent viewer with a comment sprinkled in every now and then but I wanted to say this was a great motivator for me this morning! I work outside the home but my husband takes the kids to daycare so I was able to squeeze in a 2 mile walk/jog with the dog, load the dishwasher, and I'm ready for work with 20 minutes to make a quick breakfast and grab my lunch fixings. I feel super productive now so this was a great start to my day!

I didn’t realize I was OCD about sheets not having wrinkles until I saw you make your bed. I wanted to iron them for you so bad. Not being mean or judgy just speaking for myself. Love your channel and cleaning videos. You do keep me motivated most of the time when I need that little push.

BatmanPwnage if they are too wrinkled I do. I usually put them in the dryer with 2 wet washcloths and see if that takes out most of the wrinkles. If it’s not as smooth as i like then yes I will pull out the iron and ironing board and iron them. Especially my flat sheet

My domino chore is usually laundry, if I can get up and get that going it's motivation to start gathering whatever clothes my six year old has tossed around the house, which leads to picking up random stuff that's laying around, and if I can keep that up til the first load of laundry coming out of the dryer is done then I'm in the zone 😁

I was so in a cleaning rut last week. It was my sons last week of school and my husband had some extra days off of work so my week was all over the place. On Sunday I just got so sick of it all and that put me over the top! I got the entire house cleaned and all the laundry done, including all the bedding/towels in the house and the stuffed animals. So I plan to write down a realistic summer cleaning routine that I can look at for reference and just keep up with, daily and weekly. I am offloading things that I know my kids can help me with so I don’t feel so overwhelmed. Thanks for the video and the raw unmotivated moment, it happens to all of us! BTW....love your boxwood and binkies pedestal! Aren’t they the cutest!??! I have two of them and just love them! Thanks for the video!

We keep a basket for each of us in the coat closet. Keys, sunglasses, purses, headphones, etc live there. It’s a great place to drop things as we come and go. Once a week I go through and remove any collected receipts or paperwork and either file or discard it. This helps keep OUR dresser free of the daily pile up. Hope that helps. Great video 👍🏼😘

Man, I feel you!! I’ve had zero motivation to clean and organize. It’s the summer time. I know it. But I bought some organizing containers to set out to organize my oatmeal toppings station and it completely snowballed into steaming the floors! I just pick a task and roll with it. For a couch we just upgraded to the IKEA gronlid and absolutely love it! We have three boys as well so being able to wash all the covers was super important to me and you can add and remove pieces as needed making it super customizable. It also has a 10 year warranty.

When we did some kitchen updates years ago we replaced the double sink with a single. Much easier when washing large pots, pans and baking sheets.

You’re definitely working very hard. I got myself a roomba 5 years ago and it’s worth every penny. I also got myself a bravaa the mopping robot and it is also well worth it. I squirt wood cleaner and my floors look shiny. I make my own wet wipes from paper towels and lysol and I use those to wipe countertops and bathroom tops and dining table and anything that has dust so while I’m vacuuming I can do other things. I just mop the bathroom and kitchen tiles really quick with dawn and vinegar. I use roomba to vacuum my kitchen and bathroom then throw out and change garbage bags. Whenever I shower my glass shower doors gets a shower too. Same cleaner dawn and vinegar.

I just had to tell you Amanda, I was so stressed about my house and general overwhelm, I'd about given up. Since stumbling across your videos, I have organized and declutter the pantry, painted and redecorated the master bath, a spare bath and completely overhauled the laundry room, including paint . I dont know what it is about knowing another person is going gang-busters on their own home that is so motivating, but it works!

One options to help you on your sink problem is get one of those plastic tubs from the dollar tree to add your soap water to wash then you have the other side to rinse.

Here's an idea for the rug situation. Go to your local carpet store and either have a carpet remnant bound the size of rug you want, that can be a cheaper option. You can get a super high quality that sometimes can be found in rugs from the store. You can do this at the same time you carpet the basement and have it match. My family chose a coordinating carpet that has a pattern and different texture. It looks great in our home to customize the size we needed to fit our weird shaped family room. Great video. ❤

My living room is probably the first to get messy, but I'd have to say my kitchen is right there with the living room. I can never keep them clean (mom of a 1 year old). And I would definitely love to see you clean your mom or brothers house! Thanks for the motivation.

these are my fav vids that you do. I just learned a new way to put pillows in the pillowcase. short girl with short arms so I always struggled with king size pillowcases

🤩 Double basin girl here! I use a stainless steel dish drying rack in the left side of my sink; and I fill the right side with soapy dish water. Rinse them on the left. I’ve done it this way for years; it might be old school because it’s how my mother did it...... I have a dishwasher too, but the pots -n-pans, and lots of the plastics all get hand washed. 😃🤪🤓😜🥵🥰 Ps) try baskets on the dresser tops. Square ones, side by side. Clutter can be in the baskets, and nobody sees it !! 😊 ! Plus, it looks nice.

When I moved into my new place it is a single basin sink when in both my previous homes they were double basin. Now that I’m used to the single basin I think I like it more!

Yes! I just told my hubby that I want my own apt so that when I get the urge to hurt one of them for being so messy, I can just go to my happy place. He was not very amused🤣 We have 4 kids home this summer. I swear I feel like I'm constantly fighting an uphill battle. I wish they were all still small enough to go in a playpen. Or at least contain them in one room....

Shanna Roberts I fight the battle everyday. And I only have one kid. 3 cats and a husband. I suddenly have all of this anxiety and then I have a hard time getting started because I’m dealing with some serious fatigue and symptoms from my multiple sclerosis. Lately I only have the energy to watch other people clean. I feel like all my energy got zapped away.
