The Metropolitan Police Website says you are allowed to film police personal, cars and stations. THAT IS THE LAW If the police try to stop you or arrest you then sue them
@@budgetnuclearweapons7858 their property !!paid by taxpayer with £££ It is accessible to the public also section 33 criminal justice act 1972 which extension of public place whether on payment or other wise (unless gated)
@Internet god I think you'll find it was about the amount of police officers not that there were police there, especially considering it might take a week to see one after you've been burgled or assaulted and that its almost Impossible to spot one of the clowns walking the streets
@Internet god ate we talking about the same corrupt politicians that gave their mates unlawful covid contracts and were complicit in the covering up of the rape and grooming of 1000s of innocent children, getting a simple reply to an email is hard enough but getting them to do anything is almost impossible. It's an old boys gang where the public are just pawns as I've already stated.
@Internet god I've been to many council meetings , I've been very vocal to the point of being asked to leave. The reason I'm usually asked to leave is (in my opinion) because the truth isn't welcome and answers are not forthcoming, the corruption in the UK runs very deep and only a few are willing to stand up and fight it unfortunately, most of the sheep are so brainwashed that they believe the government, police and other government bodies are there to help you, they're not . I suspect it's not much different in the US.
@Internet god you maybe correct but as I believe, nothing gets solved by being silent, and when ears fall deaf and ignorant, expressions need to be louder
They can spare that many officers for a man with a camera, but a friend of mines mother had her house broken into. When she phoned the police she was told to try and not touch anything that might be evidence. After 3 days 2 officers turned up in a car and gave her a crime number so that she could claim on her insurance, then left!!!!
If it happens again tell your friend’s mother to ring the police and tell them there’s a man outside with a camera. Before long half the station will be outside her house.
When Google streetview was first introduced, that was one of the main opposing arguments. That it would be useful for crime and even terrorism. And I'm sure it has been used in plenty of crimes and possibly the odd jihadi paradise trip.
@@leathleyg5995 now that it’s been sorted we will have to ask them to update. What’s your street name? I live in a country area and the aerial view has been updated several times and street view never seems to be more than two years old.
Remember, if there is a crime happening outside your house, for example, a couple of guys knifing the hell out of each other or someone breaking into a garage. DON'T report the actual crime, simply tell the operator that some person is standing outside your home filming everything on a camera and it's making you VERY uncomfortable....PRESTO, the bastards will be there in a matter of minutes as opposed to their usual show-up time which is in the hours....or not at all. :)
@A.J.Wells, about 30 years ago I called 999 to report a burglary. I was told forensics would be around asap to investigate and take details. 30 years later I'm still waiting for the arrival of the investigating officers.
So he stopped himself and the other officers from going to an ACTUAL crime scene to talk to you who wasn't breaking any laws ? Am I missing something here ?
You didn’t miss anything Colin, nothing ,nothing is more important than a man outside a police station with a camera . A crime is happening or happened they can get to it slow time apparently.
That's not fair, they are very busy protecting us and our freedom's... Especially during covid, they are modern day hero's putting their lives on the line everyday without a second thought
8 x PC's and a Sgt pick up at least a quarter of a million quid of taxpayers money in salaries every year. Let that sink in for a minute......! All stood around doing Jack and absolutely stealing a living. If you were at home and called the "Police" because someone was trying to break in no one would turn up.
It's just bizarre! What on Earth is going on in their minds? They're going to have to recruit a few thousand more police officers to ask a lot of stupid questions to people using cameras. God knows how much that would cost; maybe Diane Abbott can tell us.
Everyone watching this remember if you are a victim of a minor crime please also tell them they were filming seems the best way to get a copper to attend!
Cameras are a Life Saver, Especially When Confronted by Power Pissed TYRANTS like this Gaggle, ...........Love the way you Controlled the Possee From the Pig Sty.. Great Video, Brilliant Audit. Well Done. ☺😊👍👍👍👏👏👏
And what was really bad was how many started to circle him whalst the sergeant was speaking. It was as if they were waiting to jump the Auditor. And if that happened talk about the lies the police would come out with and any videos would be damaged beyond use. The police think that sort of thing still works. But it doesn't judge's are starting to see a patten of behaviour by the police when it comes to video evidence disappearing or damaged beyond use.
@@topcat1358 Maybe they all wanted to come out and see something odd. An individual that doesn't bow to their perceived authority and speaks with some semblance of intelligence. God knows, they don't have many positive role models within the police.
13:45 "Filming a police station could fall under the terrorism act." When does it really fall under the act? And when does it escape the act? And could any photography fall under the terrorism act? In other words, is it just police stations, or could other buildings be classified under the terrorism act? What about the houses of parliament or the local council building or the shopping centre or whatever. The point is to point out that to fall under the terrorism act it is more than just photography, there has to be other objective evidence to point towards terrorism. The default assumption must be that someone with a camera is just carrying out a hobby or job.
Google maps , has filmed every police station ....everywhere... Are they being questioned ..? And ... If I was a terrorist , I would just use that , and have a look at the police station of my choice without going there.
How after all this time, all these internal memos, all the law suits…. How is it possible at all that officers STILL don’t even know what an audit is?? RU-vid should be essential parts of their training!!! 🤷♂️🤦♂️
Well done young sir, you're a little shaky on the NPCC guidance but the gist of it was all there. I appreciate you are nervous, because there is always the prospect of an unlawful arrest, however I suggest you slow down your delivery a touch. The rush to inform could be seen as weakness. A reliable little birdie has told me there is a bit of a backlash in the MET because they are pissed off at being filmed. Sergeants and some younger inspectors are suggesting the kiddies act daft on the guidance and continue to give auditors a hard time.
"ANYONE WHO DECLARES THEMSELVES AN AUDITOR MUST BE LEFT ALONE" unless the police want to totally ignore that directive and decide that they think you might be terrorist.
Great Audit! Thanks for putting them in their place. One thing you could use is, when they say they have to question you, you could always say that they did, I answered but the answers to the questions are never enough, they have to keep making up more questions in the hope that they will find something to arrest me for. Ego I find is the problem especially with the female pc's, they just dont like being put in their place or in other word's being deposited back into the box from whence they came.
There will come a day when there will be an audit without the word section 43 mentioned but unfortunately it will only be due to the fact that section has been removed from the law
9 Billy Bunters FAIL!!! And I wouldn't bother going to this "crime scene", it's too late they're all dead or kidnapped , but thanks anyway for your effort 🤦🏻♂️.
I’m really impressed mate. You’ve perfected your technique in such a short space of time. You managed to keep control of the entire situation and didn’t let them get away with their usual tricks. You’re assertive while remaining polite. Keep up the great work!
Good one, the way you walked away. Did not like her the way she twisted everything, hope I never need her, could never trust her. Hope she gets the boot.
Bloody hell. Criminals must have had a field day. All the town's coppers were in the Police Station car park dealing with someone NOT breaking any law not out in the town tackling ACTUAL crimes!!!
That was basically the sergeants contribution to the whole conversation..... thinking it so important to correct plod for saying "WPC" when he should have said "PC". That's why he gets paid such big money. He spoke very carefully the rest of the time to demonstrate how his minions should (NOT) deal with the public. And plod shot him down in flames on every point he tried making. A fool in uniform leading other fools.
@@britbyname3620 I said there’s lots of police in some auditing videos so they can do on job training. Ie watching another police officer show how it’s done.
when that first plod comes up and started questioning you, you should have used that immortal line which tyrants always use to demean others: "im not going to argue about this with you", and then ignored them!
This is why cops, anywhere, hate any camera...particularly the one's they can't control....A camera in civilian hands is the harbinger of the message that the sun sets fast on the days of "make it up as you go along"...but there still exist MANY examples that show it's a tradition that is VERY hard to let go of...
I can’t believe that these police really genuinely think that the photographer is a terrorist. The truth is that they don’t like being photographed and are trying to make it illegal by fiat. Honestly, it must be stopped. Every time this happens they must be taken to court. If not they just become empowered and eventually the police will just make it impossible to photograph. What annoys me is that so many are in the police station and not on patrol. How many people have been charged with terrorism for taking photos.?
i hope people notice that the sergeant believes he can ignore orders from his boss if HE thinks they are a mistake. & then go on YT & tell everyone that his bosses have made a mistake & HE gets 2 decide how 2 treat auditors & NOT his bosses
"If you could tell me how long I'll have to wait for the other sergeant to make my complaint to, I'll just film all the vehicles and registrations in your parking lot whilst I wait" Bet he'd be there within a minute ROFL
How is it that the police claim to be extremely busy and understaffed and yet a single member of the public carrying our a legal activity outside the station, results in a gang of 9 officers immediately coming out to investigate.
EXCELLENT WORK - THE POLICE MUST BE VIDEOED WHILE THEY PERFORM THEIR DUTIES. WHEN THE GOVERNMENT IS AWARE AND IS FEARFUL OF THE PUB;IC, YOU HAVE LIBERTY. WHEN THE GOVERNMENT INSIST ON PLACING FEAR INTO THE CITIZENS, YOU HAVE A 'TYRANNICAL" GOVERNMENT. THANK YOU FOR STANDING UP FOR THE BASIC RIGHTS OF EVERY HUMAN EVERY WHERE.....
Couple of things: 1. The Sergeant needed a boot up the arse at 14:50. After you replied to the mouthy get, the Sergeant interjected: "Speaking to me! Speaking to me!" to get you to stop talking to her. No! He should have told her to button it as he was conversing with you. So the distraction is apparently your fault & not hers! That's a fail in itself. Blaming a member of the public for an interruption (which was in itself a lie!!), instead of one of his staff. 2. So it's not a WPC any more, is it? I'd have said to the Sergeant: "Apologies for trying & failing to be PC about the PC. I should have just called her a cnut & you couldn't have corrected me for that". Question: Is the Sergeant correct to say (15:07) that it's an offence after the Terrorist act to film a police station? It's a new one on me, if that's the case. Surprised you didn't challenge him on that one. Good work!
Phone a copper and see what reply you get, yet several want to stand over to members of the public doing nothing but be legal, disgusting waste of taxes.
Imagine the look on their faces when the next time you are asked "Why are you filming the police station?" you respond with "To see how quickly you can make fools of yourselves.".
By the Sergeant's reasoning, everyone driving around in their car could be transporting a car bomb. Does that mean everybody driving in a car should be stopped and have their car searched for bombs?
By the by that sergeant was talking total crap about everything - he was showing off for the other policemen there and the Asian lady who needs to be sacked as she can't do her job.
I would like to say I have been to this station and I was abused by a man after I was mugged and they helped however there was public men there and started me feeling really scared so once I went outside and told a police man he went inside the station and talked to them. I ended up asking the police officer outside to help me get the information that I needed. I gave my report when I got mugged. This man sounds like the one who insulted me in the station.
5 people filming boats at Dover have had injunction's served, telling them to stop filming...i think they are using the old stress, harm or harrassment
The law works on what we do know ... the end what u do t no is irrelevant unless u have grounds .. not opinion, ignorance and prejudice as most dirty cops appear to believe
I think it’s sad where you have to visually record inside the police station during an interview for your own protection! What’s going on in your country
I'd be surprised if he is allowed to do that. The auditor from what he said seems to think he has the right to film inside the station. He doesn't, if he manages to film in there its because they're allowing him to.
well done for standing up to the feminist police officer. they love throwing their power around and you absolutely put her in her place. I bet no man has ever spoken to her like that. well done!
Good to hear that you're cutting down on the use of the filler words 'actually', 'actual' and 'literally', they make you appear nervous and unsure. A great improvement on this audit, just stay calm and don't rush the verbal interactions.
The police have created a chasm that has become too wide to bridge, until a massive overhaul and a retraining program is put into place. There were two CPSOs who left because of the attitude of police officers toward the the public. They were well liked, helped towards getting a Community Centre, and encouraged the young teenagers to take up a more productive way to help help them later in life. Sad.
When the female constable brought up terrorism you should have asked her if she was concerned the officer stood next to her might be a rapist and murderer like the police officer in the news recently who pleaded guilty to rape and murder. In fact any or all of the officers present could be murderous rapists, if she is so concerned about safety she should ask them all.
The police have no power to stop you filming or photographing officers on duty. Recording film footage on a police incident, or taking photographs of their actions, is not illegal. But, you must follow some basic guidelines if you choose to film police officers or law enforcement personnel.
'RECRUITING NOW' - we are under manned. Really do a good job advertising that statement. Get assaulted or robbed its ''all our officers are currently busy, your call will be prioritised'' stand outside a police station with a camera and nine will turn up.
I'm a huge fan of auditers, I think the police needs to be audited, but I also think some auditers are losing their way. You were too fired up mate here on this audit. You should cook them slow and give them time to incriminate themselves. You went from 0 to 60 in less than a sec pal. Try a better approach, let them spell out all of the shit and then slowly correct them. All the best pal
PC Patel, 'you're filming, it's suspicious' and mentions terrorism. Dude, you should have pointed to their cctv all over the outer building and said 'you're filming also, is that suspicious too, should i call the police to come and investigate.' Just bounce that shit right back at them, i would have loved to see you play that card and then watch their faces slowly melt into dumbville 😂
