Meta Quest 3 - Problems & Benefits after 1 Month 

I'm one of those who used the Quest 2 daily, and I replaced it by the Quest3. Its a big difference. To me the MR possibility is one of the best features. I do a lot of fitness and where possible I like it to do in MR.

I respect companies trying to do vr business since it is pretty risky once is successful, it benefits both consumers and business.

I’m upgrading to the Quest 3 from the Rift S. excited to finally be wireless. :)

Meta is onto something with these VR gadgets. Apple is coming after them with their own VR which confirms this is the future.

I used Side Quest for the Quest 3 and maxed out all the settings for it. And it looked great on the 3000 resolution with no Fixed Foveated Rendering, on bigger games it will have issues running this, but surprisingly smaller games have no issues, the games on 3000 resolution are a heck of a lot clearer then just using a Quest 3 without the Side Quest settings. But its still a tiny bit blurry even after all these buffs, which I was disappointed, because it felt like it was almost at the perfect resolution Clerity, I wish the Quest 3 was capable of being able to focus on the picture and make it clearer with even better lenses and triple the power, with a good headstrap. Then it would be a solid headset.

Idk why they don’t make them with the quick tightening and loosening knobs like the aftermarket head straps. It’s not convenient to switch users quickly like for best saber

The Quest Pro does 90hz or 72Hz, not 60hz. You're right that it can't be pushed to 120hz though.

My quest 3 worked great for a bit the the first screen would move around and controllers would not connect so I looked for online help so I eventually factory reset now it still has the same 2 issues of first screen with the controllers that shows pushing the trigger button won't get off that, controllers wont function, only thing I've got right side to do is turn off headset once. Anyone have this issue? it worked fine was very babied since opening then just not the next day! Could this be a hardware issue or software issue or should I return it

Hello! I have quest from one week but i noticed a mini heartquake on image every 2 minutes... :( I don't understood last quest 2 have no prob!

Kids were so excited for this. Needed customer service help, and after 18 days of getting no-where, had to return both units. :( Meta customer service is the worst I've ever experienced.

I'm still using the quest 2 .I'm sure it's a nice upgrade, but for me. I'm not using my quest 2 everyday and it's still a great system. I will just wait.👍

That headset looks dirty

The faceplate buttons have nothing to do with focus. They simply control the spacing between your face and the lenses for comfort and glasses. Ipd adjuster is the slider wheel underneath that people need to play with for perfect clarity for their personal ipd. Also yeah the $3500 4k per eye OLED from the vision pro will probably be better than the $499 headset 😂

I don't know if it's just me but ever since I got this I can't buy any games even my other buddies couldn't buy any games? So we would have to buy the quest cards they sell

You already scuffed up your unit ??!! Buy a hard case if you can...totally worth it. I carved out a hole for the power cord so now the unit can charge and rest in a fully protected closed case. If you have small kids, cats or dogs believe me you don't want to leave it out on a kitchen table or desk charging. One mistake and that unit couldn't be destroyed. Even a beam of sunlight that creeps around the corner can DAMAGE your lenses beyond repair. Hard case from Best Buy is dope..it fits my BOBOVR strap, 4 batteries, Xbox controller, touch controllers with straps, cords and still has room for more accessories. Best part its modular foam.. you can customize the layout any time. I cant stand when cases make you place items the way they want because we always find more efficient and personal ways. More people need to try VR, it's a game changer thats going to take a well deserved seat next to gaming giants very soon !!!

9:04 👀 Personally, the display will make or break AR/VR for me. It's got to be sharp and vibrant. For me to adopt it though; has to be well rounded, great display, enough processing power, decent ergonomics, solid OS, and less than $1,000.

They need to drop the price of this to $399. I also agree that it needs to be sharper. We are getting close. Maybe quest 4 will be the one. I'm sure quest 4 will improve the resolution, have eye tracking and better battery life.

The Pico 4 is better, much more comfortable to wear, After an hour of discomfort, I removed the Quest 3, and i am back using my Pico 4.

Nice review ...from a non gaming channel about the non gaming aspect of the device. Which is actually useful and appreciated. lts always useful. Having said that..... In the end, ultimately for 90% of the user base of this, its a game console. Period. Thats why people get it. So all many of the gripes brought up here dont really apply all that much....

I really wish they did better on the face part and strap. I get shitty headaches every time on the q3 after as little as 30 mins. I shouldn't have to go buy a 3rd party shit to feel comfortable w no headaches out of box!

I bought the quest 3 and noticed problems immediately. The Quest 3 overheats easily, the Mircophone is shitty, the passthrough is blurry, the battery life is bad even when using the power saver mode, and it is buggy. I hate the Quest 3 and have since returned. The Quest 2 didn’t have these issues.
