So over the last couple days, I’ve been debating betweenthe quest 3 and the quest pro and I finally made up my decision. I’m just gonna stick with a quest pro because I like the design of it feels more heavy duty and it and it just looks nicer overall and the face tracking
Definitely worth mentioning about the specification difference between the Quest 3's LCD screens and Quest Pro's QLED LCD's, there's a significant improvement in colour and contrast with the QLED screens that for many individuals depending on their use case may actually be enough of a step up to bridge that price gap despite the lower resolution. It's very much a use-case situation for preference too with the headsets. The Quest 3 is king for standalone VR (And especially AR) but the Quest Pro may inch out in many use cases for PCVR (Which is funny considering it was/is targeted to business use cases with AR) I went for a Quest Pro for $650 on sale over the Quest 3 due to my use cases, but I can definitely see the Quest 3 having more value for your average user. And if the Pro wasn't available for $650-$700 on it's current sales this December I'd of probably of gone for a Quest 3 instead. Nice quick tally of all the specs!
I'm super confused between the pro and 3, right now there is a sale where the pro is only 150$ more and I would like the pro more cus its more comfortable and much cooler looking however the better gaming performance and better resolution on the 3 seems to be worth more. What are your thoughts on which I should get?
@@louaiiskandarIf you're using it for PCVR (using you desktop connected to the headset) quest pro all the way, if you're using it for standalone, quest 3 all the way.
@@ToMo_VOX hmm I definitely would be using more standalone. However I want to believe the pro is better i love the more premium feel and look but I still am a little confused. Do you think the quest pro is bad for standalone and the 3 is substantially better or? I am open to some pcvr gaming but I definitely wont be doing it much.
Quest 3 if you want to overall best experience. Quest Pro is you REALLY care about face tracking for VRChat, and you mainly socialise. Quest 2 if you’re poor. That about sums it up.
I have the opportunity to buy the quest pro brand neq for $400, but not sure i should go with Q3 since its more modern. I will be using it for PCVR and standalone equally? I am stuck now.
I feel I added quite a few cutaways to different things trying to add visual to the explanation. It's all part of a longer review. I will try to avoid chart lists next time. 😎👍🏼
