quick question. How did you become this knowledgeable? How did you understand these concepts without someone like you to explain them to you? As a medical student, who loves to teach, I would love to, one day, become as experienced and competent in understanding and teaching like you. You truly set an extraordinary example as the teacher of generations to come. I wholeheartedly believe your kind is rare and precious, and I will, hopefully, be of your kind.
He isn’t that knowledgeable 😅. Most of it is basic knowledge from any source (ignoring the slight inaccuracies he makes). But i guess for a lot of med students he may look like a saviour
I really want to thank you the you don't speak quickly and with a good accent and with a simple vocabulary, you make it so easy for ones that don't speak English as a first language
Great video! Best thing about these guys is they assume people don't know anything and hence their explanation becomes really easy. A lot of youtubers out there that assume everyone has a Ph.D. in biochemistry. Keep up the good work!
+Veritas Cain We are happy that we are able to help you out. NinjaNerd wants all learners to understand and comprehend the complex subjects as long as they have the foundation for it! Thanks so much for watching and commenting!!
Yeah this is a big help. When my professor said he is a DISTINGUISHED biochem and genetics professor, and talked in every lecture like I live eat and breathe every branch of biology and chemistry(i dont....im not tryna work in a lab my whole life)- I didn't vibe. These lectures help a lot. Thank you man.
Dr. Zach, you deserve a nobel prize or something! I don't think you understand how important your videos are to actual learning and comprehension of topics. Thank you
i am a biochemistry lecturer in a one of the nigerian university and i must confess that u av done quite a beautiful job...keep it up brother...u sud be thinking of lecturing please...so that u wont waste this talent of urs...weldone!
Best thing is that how u relate all those reaction ..and end in Krebs cycle for generation of ATP..it makes sense..I jus love ur passion...hope one day I will be a teacher like u..u r my idol..from India ❤❤❤
I wish we had professors like you in our ug medical college who would explain things so vividly. Thanks for saving us at least now during post grad preparation
Who else got hyped that alanine and AKG combined to make pyruvate? cuz u knew immediately after that pathways like the citrate cycle where coming up??? No? just me :((
I just cant believe that am nowadays soo attached to your videos..even during exam, instead of thinking what was written in the book..i try to think what u said in one video or another.Bro u are God sent..u have saved lives of hundreds of thousands of medics students..Thanks so much..we appreciate.
I graduated college a year ago, and have been looking for videos to review the things I have learned so I don’t forget. This video was so clear and concise. You are a great teacher. I will definitely subscribe and watch more of your videos. Thank you!
Don't know about you guys, but this dude is the most interesting lecturer bar none. Highly doubt I would understand these concepts without they way that he simplifies them. Thank you so much Ninja Nerd!!!!!
I am one of those people who hates biochemistry because I am unable to understand it but you made it easy to understand and not boring which is an achievement in itself. It was really helpful. Thank you. ☺️☺️☺️
The way you can just sort every piece of information out into all of the right corners of my brain is fascinating... NEver stop doing what you doing, I swear, you have no idea how many students you are helping all around the world!
Oh dear Lord, thank you so much for uploading this quality content, I’ve been reading a lot of different books but nothing made sense, until your video made the right connections in my brain in order to properly understand this! Perfect, professional and even passionate way to explain this type of subject, ¡muchas gracias! Te has ganado una nueva follower mexicana.
Dude, you're a natural teacher. I'm using a couple of your videos to study for my biochem exam tomorrow and feel much more prepared. Thanks and keep on doing what you do!
Thanks men 👏👏👏👏 It's always easy to understand anything from a knowledgeable person.N Damn I been reading that part for the last 4 hours 😤😪😴 BTW you're like a younger dr.najib n a quicker one 😂😂😂
U are just an amazing teacher, i hope that U never stop doing medical lessons to help us... i find that each time U put a metabolic physiology U relate it with a pathophysiology... THAT'S JUST BEAUTIFUL 👏👏👏
ALT: more specific for liver disease AST: is more sensitive So when u have high level of AST and ALT : it’s muscle and liver disease If u have high ALT it’s only liver disease 💛💛💛💛 At all thank u so much U did a great job keep going
You. Are. AMAZING! I know you get a flood of messages all the time but I gotta say, all deserved. Your commitment to making these videos high quality and consistent really help so many people. Much love.
Well, first of all: thank you for sharing your knowledge. Second: thank you for sharing your passion! It's clear that you really like what you're teaching and that brings your lessons to be also enjoyable. It helped me a lot. Cheers from Italy :)
Not only med students, but also new students of biochemistry should see these awesome videos! It is awesome you name all the molecules and enzyme and draw all the structures, not like some other videos. keep going :)
i am not usually the type of person to comments on video but i just need to say thank you for all the effort you have put so far , i looked everywhere but no one can explain this amazingly like you do , thank you !!
Hi ninja nerd I just want to thank you for all your biochemistry lectures Im a nursing student in Portugal and all your lectures were a life savier for me. I did understand way more from your videos than 2 hrs a week with my teacher. I got an A in biochem thanks to you...next: pharmacology. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR TEAM ❤
it's really amazing how he is doing this memorizing all of the things and don't forget any details of it omg amazing beyond all of that just want to know how you actually don't forget all of this ohhh waw ❤❤❤❤❤❤😭😭
His knowledge of this process is eye opening. Never even hesitates!! What happens if someone doesn’t have all of the vitamins, nutrients, and especially enzymes to make this relay race happen? This is where I’m learning the term “Cellular Nutrients” becomes in play.
Oh! Ninja nerds you are 10 times better than our professor! I could hardly keep my eyes open in class, but your lecture I listened with so much interest even it is the same topic. Thank you very much for these best video lectures.
I'm seriously thinking of introducing your channel to my biochem professor she really needs to use some of your awesome teaching techniques :) thank you for your videos i'm watching them all one by one
You're truly a good lecturer! All medical students are alert by your teaching. Congratulations! Ninja Nerd. I have mediated all medical the students in our school about your lectures.
Dude! Thank you so much!!! I am gonna have my second year on medical school and I hate chemistry so much. but you made me enjoy the process and everything!!! it's like magic!!! You saved my life in medical school!!! Thank you so so so much!!!
Hey Professor Murphy, big fan her. Many thanks for sharing your insights and prolific work with the world! Your contribution to public biomedical education is up there with Netter's, and this community is indebted to, and inspired by, you and your team's magnificent and magnanimous works. Thank you so much for all that you do.
Bruh tbh ur super amazing, same lecture i took frm professor in Uni n on that moment i was sleeping but listen to you rn it's like storytelling bruh i enjoy everybit of it haha in very last step u just mashup everything n made mess but alright I'll work on it n I really admire ur effort for all students worldwide i hope they all wishing u same😄❤️
I'm struggling through biochem during covid med school and this video was a much-needed reminder of why I love human physiology/morale boost. Thank you so so much!
You are brilliant- and you are able to explain difficult topics in a way that makes it understandable- what is it with STEM instructors? I am 50 - in VET school in Ireland- yes 50! And starting my 3rd career- I was a professor (2nd career) and when I started taking STEM classes I could not believe how awful the professors were! Oh my…. You do not fall in that category- that is why I came to YOUTube and found your videos- but here I am again- because again- I am having difficulty understanding the topics and having professors teach from PowerPoints that make no sense- I just wish you could teach classes on how to teach STEM classes-anyhow- I hope you are making $$$$ from these videos- you deserve it- you are getting me through my biochem in vet school- you are a life saver! THANK YOU!!!!!
Thank you for showing the full picture and showing how different pathways interconnect, hours and hours of lectures and powerpoint slides all understood in less than half hour of SIMPLE BUT THOROUGH explanation! Love how you explained zwitter ion, schiff base, major enzymes involved including precursors, etc. I did wonder when you began the video talking about amino acids, where they came from, i'm guessing from digested food absorbed through intestine.
