Tommy 4-Ever Musical and instrument genius Tommy Johansson born on 26 October, 1987 in Boden, Sweden started playing guitar when he was 9 years old. Tommy started his first band, Guranerna, when he was 13 years old. In 2004, ReinXeed was founded, which became the real starting point in Tommy's musical career. ReinXeed has toured in Sweden, but fanbases are mainly found abroad; in India, Japan, Indonesia, Holland and the USA. In 2009 Johansson was karaoke music champion in Sweden. Tommy Johansson is a Christian and a musical prodigy who seems to basically master all instruments and all songs from all genres. He has recorded three albums with Christian melodic neoclassical power metal bands. In 2008, Majestica started as a project, which later became the new band. In 2011, he performed together with Måns Zelmerlöw at Allsång at Skansen with his own song "The Look." You can hear so much Abba in the background (the piano for example) but Tommy spices up this song to a new level with so much respect to the original. And he plays at least 8 instruments: guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and piano, banjo, flute, mouthharp, accordeon. ( Listen to his swedish spring time song "nu grönskar det"). And I'm pretty sure he is practicing the violin...

It is supposed that ABBA themselves like the many many metal covers of their songs made by so many artists and groups. Please note that all those covers you find in RU-vid must have the consent from Benny and Björn al least, just to be published. And Tommy is probably the best at this.

As far as telling you what instruments he plays, it might be easier to tell you what he doesn't play but instead I'll let him tell you himself... in his cover of "Cotton Eye Joe" he will let you know! "Ave Maria" & "Euphoria" are a must but my favorites are his original "The Light" and his cover of Gary Moore's "Over the Hills and Far Away"! ❤

Thanks Sue. You nailed it! Celebrating ABBA but not ABBA😊 Avoiding potential ABBA overkill. Tommy has a unique voice and can create his own versions which rival the originals yet are in no way "copies". I wondered what you would come up with and I don't think you could have made a better choice for the 50th.

I never heard of Tommy J until this , I did look him up and its said he was Karakoke king of Sweden This is dar more that Karaoke or even just a cover He makes it his own ! Love his voice and guitar playing I see he plays all instruments Another great “ one man band” worth checking out from early 70s would be Emit Rhodes He was dubbed the One Man Beatles and for good reasons Emit played all instruments wrote beatles caliber songs and produced engineered and mixes his own albums And damn he waz as cute as the Fab Four too Go sone to start would be : Somebody Made For Me
