I was particularly interested in this video and happy I got this recommended. I actually came to Japan to do music about 15 years ago, I've played with lots of bands from around the world that have visited Japan. I'm privileged to now be playing in a Japanese metalcore band comprised of Japanese, Brazilian and English members. I personally am from Australia but spent my life living in America and Germany as well. We just got signed and are doing well, so all has come together nicely. It's just awesome how music brings people together from all over the world! Looking forward to more of these videos! Keep it up!

As a diverse metalhead, here is my humblest of suggestions: Austria: Russkaja - Energia (Full octane Russian-sounding folk metal) Brazil: Sepultura - Ratamahatta (Brazilian thrashy folk metal) Denmark: Mnemic - Deathbox (A danish take on industrial metal that'll make you want more) Faroese Islands: Tyr - By The Sword In My Hand (A mixture between heavy metal and folk, with a twist of viking) Finland: Amorphis - Bad Blood (Finland has so many good choices, really, but these guys writes most of their songs in a finish poetry scheme called Kalevela) France: Igorrr - ieuD (I have no words, check it out yourself) Germany: We Butter The Bread With Butter - Alles Was Ich Will (German lyrics, very heavy, and delightful for the ears) Greece: Septicflesh - Portrait of a Headless Man (Somewhere in between black and death metal) Inner Mongolia (not mongolia): Nine Treasures - Bodhicitta (If you like Bloodywood, you'll like this. Native instruments mixed with metal) Italy: NanowaR of Steel - Heavy Metal Kibbles (Though this band makes its music with humor in mind, it still really slaps) Japan: Maximum The Hormone - Zetsobou Billy (A progressive masterpiece of a band. If you've seen Deathnote, they might sound familiar) Netherlands: Heidevolk - A Wolf In My Heart (An iconic folk metal band from the Netherlands) Norway: DImmu Borgir - Counsil of Wolves and Snakes (A very symphonic black metal band, and an icon of their genre in the north) Poland: Decapitated - Kill The Cult (If you like groove metal, these are your guys. This slaps hard) Russia: Stardown - Pray For Nothing (Russian take on a mix between thrash and death metal) Scotland: Alestorm - Keelhauled (You like pirates? You like metal? These are the guys for you) South Africa: Seether (Not the hardest band around, but they are like a harder version of the Foo Fighters) Sweden: Opeth - Ghost of Perdition (When progressive metal hits just right. This song is iconic in the northern metal scene) Switzerland: Irony of Fate - Six Feet Deep (This is the land of the female vocalists, and this is no exception. Both growls and screams) Ukraine: Jinjer - Pisces Live Version (Another female vocalist, and her voice is as beautiful as her face. And the growls, oh lawd) Wales: Skindred - Nobody (If you think raggae and metal sounds like an odd mix, you have not tried these guys) I hope this list finds its' way to you, and you find something you fancy on it.

As a Chinese metalhead I'm really glad that Stevie mentioned Tengger Cavalry. It's actually the project from Zhang TianRan aka Nature as the front man in this band. He started it 12 years ago in China then he went to US and had new members from other countries. Sadly, Nature was found dead in his car last year due to undisclosed causes. He was only 29 years old. If you are into Inner Mongolian folk metal, Tengger Cavalry definitely worth a try. Nine Treasure is another band with similar style from China. Highly recommend.

I don't know if you will continue this series but I guess I'll recommend you some bands from places that I don't believe have been touched. I'll try to go for more folk metal style bands since you get a taste of the culture and/or history/mythology with it. You have been trying to avoid European bands sure, since at least Western Europe and Russia have pretty big scenes, but there's definitely gonna be alot of bands from there. Brazil: Sepultura is pretty big, mainly a thrash metal band, they had the folk metal and nu metal clash around the time of Roots. Ratamahatta is a pretty good example of this as they also speak Portuguese in that one. Japan: Wagakki Band is probably the signature folk metal band there, though ironically enough I've yet to hear a metal Vtuber sing anything from these guys, just Bae and Kronii. They're part of the Angurra Kei scene of visual kei, which usually denotes more traditional clothes and sounds....or WWII clothes apparently, but lets not talk about that. Tunisia: Myrath is a progressive metal band with Arabic influences in their music as well, guessing North Africa is full of this. South Africa: Vulvodynia is a deathcore band with lots of slam influences and lyrics generally being typical gross-out stuff you used to see in deathcore, think Waking The Cadaver. Well there was also Mob Justice where they talked about the bad parts of South Africa. There's also Xalveg, which was more of a meme project. Russia: While Slaughter to Prevail is probably the country's biggest metal band, Epidemia is power metal, Abominable Putridity is big for slam metal, and Radio Tapok got personally endorsed by Sabaton, Arkona is the folk metal band here so they're gonna be the main one here, though StP did talk about Baba Yaga once and frequently sings in Russian if that counts for anything. Arkona sings in Russian and continuously talks about Russian or Slavic folk lore, they're apparently more popular outside of Russia for those reasons. Israel: Orphaned Land is pretty similar to Myrath mentioned earlier but they tend to talk more about Jewish folklore instead. Switzerland: Eluveitie combines Celtic folk metal with more Swedish influenced melo-death. And from there, they tend to talk about Celtic folklore, usually of the Gaulish, a Celtic tribe that I think comes from what we now know as France. Special mention goes to Cellar Darling which does the same thing as it's formed by former members of Eluveitie, but with progressive metal instead of melo-death. Spain: Mägo de Oz, or The Wizard of Oz in English, is another Celtic folk band with more of a power metal edge to it this time around. Unlike the Swiss bands they basically only sing in their native Spanish though. Norway: Enslaved is probably one of the few black metal bands I actually like. They're pioneers of Viking Metal, as it's known, as they focus most of their lyrics on vikings and Norse mythology. They got more straight up progressive metal as time went on though and mostly sing in English now as opposed to Norwegian, Old Norse or any other Scandinavian language really. Not a metal band but special mention goes to Wardruna, a dark viking folk project from some ex members of Gorgoroth. Argentina: Rata Blanca, or white rat in English, is a heavy/power metal band who much like Mägo de Oz, also sing in Spanish. Finland: Though Nightwish is one of my favorite metal bands and they've adopted a more folk metal sound once Floor Jansen became the singer, Amorphis fits better here due to basing much of their lyrics on the Kalevala, basically the national epic poem. Aside from that, they're more of a progressive death metal band kinda like Opeth used to be but with more folk and melo-death elements added in as well. Portugal: Moonspell is basically what happens when you take folk metal and mix it with gothic metal. Indonesia: Well for starters they seem to have quite an extensive death metal scene down there seemingly caused by some social disruption in the 90s. Though regardless, Purgatory is one such band. They were initially part of the death metal scene, but later moved on to more of a nu metal/prog band like Mudvayne.

@@Republic_Of_Vicoria_Official it is ,government mostly don't have problem with instrumental songs but when u add vocalist (especially metal ones ) things gets kinda hairy and even they might even call them satanic like for example a band called Arsames they released some death metal songs about the great Cyrus (didn't even had satanic lyrics to it) but the government announced its satanic and wanted to throw the band members in jail for 15 years gladly they managed to escape Iran. so most of the metal bands you hear form Iran they are either underground bands(keeping low profile ) or they are staying in foreign countries .
