Metal Northern New Jersey homesites in the sweltering heat and looking for the memories they hold. Despite the temps climbing to the 90's, and humidity off the charts the trips payed off, and history was saved from the dirt.

Hi Jay! Just wanted to say thank you for the Challenge Coin that you gave me & the other Quarter Hoarders! I love the story behind it….just another part of our great history. Wouldn’t it be neat to dig up an old one? I’m so glad you’re enjoying the hobby, and it sounds like there will be two little ones joining you soon! I love being able to spend time with Rich doing something that we both love. Happy detecting, and thanks again for thinking of me!

Oh man Jay, I was sweating just watching you! Be careful in that heat! Love finding Indians, but I really loved that decorative button. We found a few of those curtain rings too and didn’t know what they were. Great work my friend. Thanks for sharing.

I’m liking it a lot. There’s been talk on depth issues, but I’ve been finding deep targets. For the wooded areas I’m in at times it’s much easier than the stick coil in the long run. It likes VERY slow though. I have the M8 for tighter areas but the M9 is going to be my full time coil
