Hey Markus! Yeah man its been extremely hot lately. Though, we did get a little cool down into the 80s this week which is nice. I was just using Beach Sensitive with PWM pitch tones, reactivity at 0.5, notched 0-40 to eliminate some of the smaller stuff like foil. I realize I could be missing some small gold, but I have a bad back so I have to limit my digging somewhat.
Thanks Matt! Gold would've been awesome, but I was thrilled just to find any kind of ring since it was my first time on a beach. Hope you've been doing well!
You know you're supposed to shake the sand out out the shovel, and your find will stay in there. Yes I'm jealous and H8N because I'm not out there swinging.
lol! Yeah, I'm a total n00b at beach hunting so it wouldn't surprise me if I'm doing a few things wrong. I did try the shaking method. Works great as long we there's some water. Trying to shake that thick wet sand kicked my butt though.
Hi Maher. I'm primarily a land hunter and a total newby at beach detecting. I don't want to give you bad advice, so I would suggest asking some more experienced beach hunters. Come on over to metaldetectingforum.com and post your question in the beach detecting forum. Lots of experienced users there can give you some good quality advice. HH!
