Maybe you can clarify this for me, deeper high conductive items have that nice tone but it sounds broken as opposed to a HC target closer to surface is a strong steady tone ?
@MetalDetectingNWGA
@MetalDetectingNWGA 2 дня назад
@@nvy2fd588 the deeper the target, the more the ground signal starts to consume it, which can make it sound broken or grunt like iron even though it’s non-ferrous. If the targets are super deep, you can use these same settings but with Deep HC as the base program instead of Fast. Try that and see if it clears up those deep signals.

The diamond Market is in the trash can because of all the lab grown diamonds. My buddy took a few of his very nice rings in to sell on consignment the guy told him no way he would ever sell them now because lab grown diamonds are the thing now because they are cheaper....lab grown diamond is a real diamond just not "natural".....so a $15000 diamond ring might lucky if you get $2500 now.....!!!!!

Hey Rattle. Have are you still using this program? Have you made any adjustments for the 2.0 update? For reference I'm using 2.0. I have the exact specs as a saved program and tinker with it dependant on the ground conditions I expect. Today I lowered reactivity to 1 and volume response to 2 so I could cherry pick deeper targets. I'm using the 9" coil. Found a single mercury dime but. It was a very iffy signal at a very slow swing speed, what I refer to as Painting the Fence. That merc was showing a VDI of 97/99 at 7" of depth. Have you come across this phenomenon? With a dime at 97/99, I'm curious where the heck a quarter or half has room to been seen and sound/vdi to be given. Just curious your opinion, and or experience?
@MetalDetectingNWGA
@MetalDetectingNWGA Месяц назад
Hey man! Yes I still use the SS program occasionally for cherry picking silver. Version 2.0 does require a few tweaks to work well. I listed them in the description and pinned them in the comments. Unless a site is loaded with trash or iron, I almost always try to get away with a reactivity of 1. I usually can. I have seen silver and even copper pennies up-average way up into the higher 90s. Not sure what causes it but I'm glad its upaveraging instead of down averaging. I'm digging any coin sized signal in the 90s no matter what.

Hey Markkus! Man I love the M9 coil. Its a big part of the reason I decided to buy another Manticore.
