Wow Mark, you have brought up a serious topic only for those who have experienced as being a victim. This was back in 1996 up in the challis national forest. Just north of challis, Idaho turn norh off the Morgan creek turn off and head towards van horn peak to the west of mogan creek turn off. A friend on mine, Scott and I were bear hunting early and plan on climbing to the top of van horn peak. By the time we arrived between the peaks it was noon time and the view was breathtaking. As we made our decent down about half way down checking trails for print activity we came across that appeared to be foot prints. We followed the prints and came across a perfect good print that it was so defined. This print was about a D sized width and about 10 inches long. The most interesting about this print was the toes, they apparently had extra pad from the bottom portion of the toes, like a main pad to a smaller pad beneath the the main pad of the toes. Also, there was a small triangular shaped rock that split the small toe from the rest of the group of toes. We could not believe what we were observing at that moment and time. The same year in the fall, elk and deer season hunting north of woods peak and cougar lake, we were waking back to camp, alter creek in late afternoon. As we decented down into a large meadow you have a beautiful view of woods peak. We were tangent with some timbers and suddenly we could hear a well distinct yell with like one of you commenters have said, animal mix to it. I found myself pulling up my 9 x 25 Leopold binocular and looking at the three layers stair steps that builds the beautiful woods peak. We were a good half mile from the first timber line of wood peak. Durning all this I quickly looked at Scott and my surroundings who he was doing the same. No words were spoken at that moment. There was a another yell and a another after this one. I remember to this day, the yells were intense. You could almost feel them. Never did see it, but it had the ability to direct the sound in a direction of intensity. I have searched recordings and found the library of you tuber of his collections and has analyzed from other peoples recordings.There was one he has that sounds like the one of that day we will never ever will forget. You bring up a good point to start off... This is a serious topic to the persons who have experienced something that was unnerving, irrational and spooky. Your incidents are both very interesting. Sadly none of us will ever know for sure what we saw or heard. Like I have said in other replies here on this video, if I had actually "seen" a Bigfoot like creature I would have never made this video or talk about it in public as I would feel it would be a very private experience. I live near Placerville and I had an experience like your second one. I was hiking up the Lyons Creek trail off of Wrights Lake Road. I was towards the end near Sylvia Lake. I saw prints and trails in the snow. And something broke a big tree limb across the creek from me, started thrashing it around and screaming/yelling at me. The sound was extremely loud and reverberated in my body. It was animal sound with human tones mixed in. It had low and high notes at the same time. And I have never felt more fear than then in my life. I stood there, and didn’t want to run and look like prey. Finally I heard it running away, crashing loudly through the brush and screaming. I started to walk out backwards for about 100 yds and then ran 1/2 a mile. Then walked back to my car. Nobody else was up there, no other cars in parking area at trailhead. And it’s an isolated trail system that dead ends against the ridge between Pyramid Peak and Mt Aghassi. That was back in late May, early June 2009. I’ve had plenty of run-ins with cougars and bear; 110% sure it wasn’t one of those.
That's literally a spine tingling story and so close to where I live (Shingle Springs). So many others say exactly what you said... You remained still, then walked backwards then ran. This is the most common response to this kind of an experience. I might have done the same but I was with other guys in my incidents so that and being armed changes things. So I’ve had a couple incidents in my life. I looked into this back in 2010 and actually did some investigating on this stuff. It’s something that I wish I never did. It’s kinda like I opened Pandora’s box. I’ll tell you about an incident that happened to me in about 2018 me and a buddy of mine went metal detecting in the eastern part of Iowa. We went to a park, but at one time it was a Boy Scout camp. We were finding silver coins and I went further back into the wood line. There are trails back there, and I was walking towards three tall pine trees all by themselves. The Boy Scouts had planted what used to be an empty field with trees back in the 50s. I thought this little cluster of large pines had some kind of meaning so I wanted to detect around them. I had my headphones on, and I had a lot of signals coming in through the headphones I was within 10 feet of this cluster Pines and I heard a woman behind me speaking. It was loud enough that I could hear it through my headphones. I took it as a female voice, but it was just chatter. It sounded like a language, but not one that I could understand. I spun around on a dime, because that person sounded so close. But there was nobody there nothing. I pulled one side of that muffs off my ear and I took another half step forward. The next noise I heard was coming from in front of me. It sounded like a kid, making a mooing sound, but very loud. There’s no cows in this park. Other than me and my buddy detecting in this park, there was nobody else there. I spun around and swiftly walk back out of the timber and back to where my buddy was. I’ve had two daytime sightings, one nighttime sighting I filmed three subjects standing in 8 foot corn at night. It’s not something I look into anymore. I still metal detect out in the sticks and gold mine out in the boondocks. The difference is, I know what’s out there and I carry every place I go.

Oh man…lol! FIRST let me say that you and I are the same with that desire to see what is over the next hill! Just like you, it is ‘what I do’. So my story takes place in southeast Oklahoma in a very remote area, where we were searching for a cave along a river. It had been a very long day, and we got back to camp about dusk, so we made a fire and started cooking and just hanging out and talking. Well, you know how it goes when you’re out in the woods and hanging out with friends-the next thing we knew it was really late and it was starting to get foggy in the river bottom. Suddenly we started hearing this strange knocking sound coming from the woods, maybe a few hundred yards away, maybe more than that. One of my buddies started getting really agitated because he’s a little jumpy, and definitely believes in Bigfoot, whereas myself and our other buddy don’t rule it out, but won’t believe it either unless he walks out in front of us, lol. But anyway, he started getting really excited saying that’s bigfoot, that’s bigfoot! Well, we heard that sound off and on for a little while and mainly we passed the time just by laughing at our friend that was getting a little freaked out by it. After a while everything went back to being silent minus a few howls here and there of coyotes. At one point, one of my friends remembered a joke that cannot be discussed publicly, and we all laughed very loudly, and when we did, that that scream that you described came out of the woods and literally stopped us all mid laugh! Now having done a lot of hunting at night for predators and pigs in Texas, I have heard mountain lion screams and other weird noises that eventually you figure out what they are. But this one I probably won’t ever be able to figure out what it was, but I definitely know what it wasn’t! That was 10 years ago and both of those friends have moved away. So I haven’t been back because it’s not much fun to go anywhere on an adventure by yourself, plus…you just never know…
Thank you for sharing your stories. Obviously something was uncomfortable with you guys being so close to it. And it seems that it understood what laughter was enough to upset it even more. Which is highly unlikely that it would be a bear or mountain lion but more of an intelligent creature. It sounds like you've been on a lot of Adventures in your life in the wild and coming from someone like you that has that kind of background I know that you know those sounds were not from any animal you have ever seen or heard before. Same with mine. The only kind of animal I can compare what I heard too would be an elephant as far as the power of it but the tones of it were mixed with a human and very large animal. I was detecting an 1860’s gold mine area and I’m not or at least have never been a believer in ghost. At first I heard steps coming up from behind me, thinking it was my wife I turned to say hi but no one was there. Ok I’m just hearing things, I continue for a few more minutes and as I’m digging a target I hear distinctive foot steps moving quickly towards me, I was so sure of this I jumped back😂 fast forward to a few days later I talked to a friend of mine who camped in this very spot and he said for 3 nights he could hear someone walking around the camp but never did see anything. At one point he could hear breathing too! Anyway kind of cool experience but you’ll never catch me camping there
I never really was a big believer in anything Supernatural and still have trouble believing any of it but I can tell you I've seen some strange things out there detecting at night and the California Gold country. I've heard some stories about Civil War camps where battles occurred and many voices are heard in the dark even skirmishes with shots fired can be heard in the distance at night according to some. Mark, dude I had the same thing happen to me, it was near Michigan Bluff and just about dark I was detecting a hillside focused on the ground in front of me when a big branch hit the ground close in front of me, I couldn’t tell where it came from but it hit the ground with some force, there were no trees around that it could’ve fallen from and no trees close enough for somebody to be hidden in. I just kinda blew it off but the more I thought about it the more I realized something or somebody with one hell of a throwing arm had to be trying to scare me. Needless to say I stay away from that area now.
Good observation, I'll have to look again. Not sure about that though. Other than this clip I have not done any research more than what I saw in that TV show. What do you think about the prints? Thanks for the view and comment/question!
Hey Mark that is some crazy stories that you told and far as that bigfoot with two orange eyes i would be running lime crazy somewhere and never know what those bigfoot are capable of...........my question is has there ever been any bigfoot or sasquash anywhere in the California mountains by any chance??
YES! Lot's of reports. I found the reports on the area I was in on a website called BFRO and don't forget that there are many accounts in historical newspaper archives about these creatures being seen during the California Gold Rush as well as by Native Americans for millennia. Your biggest thing if you come across this again, turn around and get out of the area and don’t search for any thing. Just get out of there. Tell you right now you don’t wanna come across these things. You don’t wanna see them and don’t look into it.

It was the farmer kids plinking but they didn't know i was about. I called the farmer and he said shit a lot and told me it may be best to leave. Which i did very quickly.
Me and my buddy Ron had a similar experience one night we were detecting and the dark when we heard gunshots nearby shortly after a bunch of teenage kids came out of the canyon next to us acting very strangely spread apart with no flashlights or lights of any kind looking kind of lost as well. That was a very strange evening and kind of scary having gunshots so close to us. You always wonder what are people shooting at, at night when they even see their target? Several times prospecting on Butte Creek feel like I am being watched and not welcomed any longer as the sun goes down. Found out there were multiple massacres of the local indigenous peoples in that area during the gold rush in Magalia area in California. Creepier than the suspicion of a mountain lion possibly stalking me. My friends have had identical experiences.
I feel exactly the same way when I have been to the old town of Indian Diggins in California. I get a very weird, uneasy, being watched from several sides feeling there. It seems eerily quiet and still there too. Weird energy. Probably some similar history in Indian Diggins too?? Thanks for checking out the video and for leaving a comment!
ive not kept up with bigfoot stuff lately, are these the london trackway prints that were found ages ago, or a new set? i would love to believe in bigfoot, and im a big fan of anything cryptozoology, but sadly most of the tv shows make me think its just a legend for a local town to make money from tourism, anyway, thanks for the content, i appreciate the time and effort involved making said content, cheers from the UK ❤
Yeah just add me to the heap of all the others that make Bigfoot content! The funny thing is if I ever do see one or if I had already really seen one I would have never told anybody about it kind of changes everything. I don't want to ever see one. Same with ghosts, aliens, etc. I'm perfectly finding a normal existence. These particular tracks were from the states, Alaska and we're seen in 2012 near Fairbanks at a river. Well Mark I've never seen big foot but do to all of the sightings and reports I do think they are real.I heard of a report by a military squad on a mission up where I have camped on Sonora pass.I sure would like to see one.
I never have either but those two weird incidents had me thinking so I checked an online bigfoot reporting site and was shocked to see so many sightings in the area. The gold miners in the 1800's were seeing them too, mostly up North near the Klamath river where Native Americans have them in all of their legends. But there are many reports in historical newspaper archives of such sightings during the gold rush. I can't say that I "want" to see one though . . . . . That's probably not the concern . . . I think it was the stride and straight line they are puzzled by rather than 16" long feet. Shaquille O'Neal has 16" feet and many others as well. But just maybe someone heavy with huge feet went running with a long perfectly straight stride along a river in Alaska? Thanks for the view and comment!
Big feet are very very smelly. Our community is overrun with these stinkers. I live in a retirement community. So use your imagination.. they exist among us also have a fungus 😜.
