I had this gilly suit for playing paintball and we got to play on my friends dad's property which was huge. I remember I found my spot between two logs and I just put a bunch of leaves on top of me and I had my area of sight. It was perfect. I layed down for like an hour and a half and was about to give up and then this kid shows up on my 2 and I literally was like 10 yards away from this dude and he had no idea what hit him. I never felt more like big Boss in all my life
Ollie Barbor I thought it was fun to do trick shots with, but it was almost impossible to kill a single guard on extreme. You had to score a head-shot or else they live.
"This is a solo sneaking mission, you cannot engage the enemy head on." Snake with an M63, M37, and RPG-7 blasting enemies on the mountain: "You were saying?"
Love this game, forever as one of my top picks. The campy humor, the methodical gameplay and the basic fact that you are playing a combination of James bond meets Rambo.
Sometimes i even want me to be caught, because damn, this alert music from MGS3 is perfect. Samething with dying in MGS2 at Tanker level. That sound is damn epic
i changed my mind a bit,yes,MGS2 has the worst ending, and Raiden is cancer, imo MGS2 still rules cuz of the VR Missions,u know like, you can use the konami code to play as Pliskin,MGS1 Snake,Ninja Raiden,Tuxedo Snake, etc
i used to get so scared when getting alerted, i remember mgs3 on the ds and i recentley played it on the ps3 and holy crap the controlls were not it for me, this was the one game that taught me about stealth, thank you konami for a childhood and its sad to see you leaving the gaming industry for good.
Finished my metal gear marathon recently. MGS 2 3 4 Peace Walker, all one after another. Played em all for the first time with HD collection and they were amazing. Always wanted to experience metal gear.
HQ! -Shots at the Soldier with the radio- -What's Going on? -Where's the radio!? -There's something wrong, support unit, confirm their status And me: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hell i missed the conversations Big boss had over the radio from enemy tactics to weapons to politics. MGS5 stripped all that for a mute doppelgänger! bloody shame
Mgsv easily has the best gameplay of the series, its so much natural and the shooting doesnt feel clunky, idk what u talkin about but V is deep af in its gameplay and story
Big Boss and Zero: "Major, I've made it to the ruins, but the door won't open!" "Eva must've bolted it from the inside." "Why would she do that?" "Think about it for a minute." "Uhhhh.... Oh. That." "Makes sense now?" "Yeah but she wouldn't bolt the door just because..." "Because of what?" "I mean, why would she be so mad at me? I was just taking a little..." "Snake, what the hell are you talking about? She obviously doesn't want the enemy to see her meeting with you!" "OH..." "You've got a one track mind..."
"Hq." *"This is Hq"* "I found the enemy's body" *"Roger stay on your toes there might be another enemy"* **The Russian GRU soldier would bend down and feel naked snake's pulse (but since naked snake used the pill he cant feel it)** "Hmhp" **Enter normal Phase**
I heard this music alot my first play through. I enjoyed the game so damn much that I would intentionally get alerted just so I could ninja the reinforcements. Of course, that was before I learned about the sorrow's boss battle... Jesus it took me forever to get through that.
all you have to do is walk until he kills you and then use the revive tooth pill, i uninstalled it on the ds before i figured out how to finish it lmao
MGSV was pretty bad relative to most mgs games. That being said it was still an amazing game, and if you like stealth then you should probably play it.
I liked the open-world gameplay, but the story...man. If Konami would've let Kojima do his magic, it would've been a lot better. BTW, is FucKonami still a thing? Lol
Yes. John is his real name, but last name is unknown. Jack is technically a nickname given to him in his younger years and used back then. So anyone who calls him Jack either knew him when he was younger, or knows his background.
Damn true I always were in a serious decision if I should call him. John or Jack I didn't knew it was a nickname given to him. In his younger years We really need a game with the BOSS in ww2 and the cobra unit Seen snake younger but please make David be that snake
POV: listening to this after almost crying from happiness seeing that I will be able to play my favourite PS2 game of all time in next gen experience. Best theme ever tho
On my first playthrough i was like sneaking up from behind on everything and kniving/CQCing it down. Wasnt very wise once i realized killing people has serious consequences in this game.. You should absolutely avoid killing people unnecessary, if you can avoid them in any other way, do it! Only kill those which you really need to remove permanently from the map. Even in boss fights, you should rather drain their stamina to zero instead of their HP.
I think his first name is John, it was common during the time MGS3 was set for people called John to be referred to as Jack, for some reason. Also when Adam asks his real name at the end he says John, I don't think he was lying at that point. I think you're right about his second name not being Doe though.
This was the Metal Gear Solid that I have had the most rampages on, murdering soldiers & scientists with the LMG while wearing American flag face paint. Happy late 4th of july
@@cptTK421 Right, but at the same time.. doesn't the game kinda punish you for pretty much killing everyone on sight to get away? Cuz one time I tried wiping out everybody... then I had guys coming at me with armor and shields, so I was pretty much screwed.
when i hear this, get the M63, go full alert mode and just spray everyone with it. doing alerts with CQC and the MK23 is also the best. like Rambo but better
You don’t like E. Extreme because it’s too hard for you. I don’t like it because I barely hear this masterpiece (if any, I played e extreme like 2 years ago)
I played this game so much that I even know the lines in my head, I played on the ps2, ps3, X360, XB1 and PC (Pcsx2/Rpcs3) .... I don't even know how many times I've finished
Impossible to quantify the amount of times I got caught and had to hear this theme while running away angry or strongly considering resetting but never doing. Ode to the homies who never toggle alert = game over in MGS even if they refuse to play anything but stealth and still get caught like crazy.
