@@SUPERVILLAIN_MEGAMIND The Murasama _technically_ does a bit more damage, so it's a little better against some of the bosses (the ones who don't summon enemies to fight you, like Sam's second fight), but the Fox Blade's ability to completely ignore armor when fully upgraded makes it far better, because you can one- or two-shot even the bigger enemies like Gekko or the heavily armored guys with the hammers which take a significant amount of combat with the Murasama.

I’m stuck on getting the FOX blade. I have every other sword/weapon. How do I get it?

@@deathseeker5919 Well, first you have to make sure you have the DLC pack that it's included in, the Gray Fox DLC. After that, it's just a matter of buying it in-game for 200,000 BP.

Yeah, even though they take years to swing, with +4 damage upgrade you can one hit Geckos and two hit combo Mastiffs (gorilla bois) into stun and execution. Edit: also, when I used them I was able to kill Blade Wolf before he got to execution and get Mistral to 3.4% while still on the pipe (killed her with the first parry on the lower floor).

Most unweildy weapon against normals, but does enough damage to skip phases on bosses

@@xyzw888 with fully upgraded fox blade fipper mode is useless and with wig b when you use zandatsu ripper mode deactivate automatically

The FOX blade is the best weapon in the game, because it ignores armor at the cost of less damage than the Murasama. But with armor piercing it's just a lot more damage.

@@bencenagy5459 Just remember if you're doing major bosses, Murasama might be better, due to major bosses lacking armour.

@@bencenagy5459 can't you just Wig B with ripper mode on murasama? the only downside is having to use a wig slot but otherwise there's no real reason to use fox over this combo.

Sai+Armor Breaker is essentially just a non DLC Fox Blade for armored enemies. (Sai+Stun Blade for non armored enemies.)

Dystopia is an amazing weapon, especially if the -victim- enemy is in the air. Plus, it can be used to blast Sundowner's shields from a distance if you wanted to make the easiest fight in the game a cakewalk, and it's good for combos

but you can instead get the infinite wig B which gives you unlimited fuel cell usage so 7/24 ripper mode + hf murasama is better than having fox blade if the rumours of hf murasama dealing more damage is real. Except the ripper mode gets canceled while using blade mode so you have to activate it every time and pushin both L3 and R3 over and over isn't the most health thing for you to do on your controller since it shakes the circuit board which turns into a random button pressing problem in the long run lol.

the Fox blade will always ignore armor with full upgrades, with ripper mode on top of it your bascially in perma blade mode

@Arashiryuu damage buffer and looking badass are the Ripper modes two major functions , lol.

7 years late but it increases the combo speed buy a lot as well

Fx blade plus ripper Mode kills tanks faster than murasama plus ripper mode

murasama deals more damage but it cant slice trough armor 💀
