I had the PC and PlayStation version. I played both all the time I loved it so much. Was tricky playing on the keyboard but loved the better graphics - and now I would use a wireless controller obs

I've tried everything but the cutscenes have black bars at bottom and top. Everything else is fine. I have set the commandline to 0 in the script and in the main directory. Why?

gog port is better because you can apply widescreen patch in it no point in playing mgs 1 on master collection on pc

So i just got this on pc via GOG and it wont launch at all. Just a black screen. I cant find the fan made patch either online. any help would be great

How did you remove the black bars at the bottom of the screen? From the Widescreen Patch, I mean.

The patch has an ini file for configuration inside the scripts folder, there you need to set letterbox to 0. This is how my file look like: [MAIN] Width = 1920 Height = 1080 [MISC] cutscenes_letterbox = 0 // 0 - Off; 1 - On

@@wastedtime9417 Late reply but it seems like it. His PC is fairly decent so he can have an internal resolution of 1080p. In mine however, if I go above 720p I have massive frame drops.
