Yh I agree I actually really enjoyed it the cinematics really made snake look like a character worthy of defeating venom snake aka the decoy big boss and the scene where grey fox is fighting metal gear it’s such an amazing moment to this day I really hope the remake that they have in the works turns out to be something to look forward to there’s so much they could do with the metal gear series I mean first thing they should do is remake the first metal gear games that came out on the nes and SNES the battle at Zanzibar the death of frank jäger the battle between young snake and venom snake so much potential but Nintendo really seem to sit on there hands when simple reinventions could be amazing hopefully hideo Kojima breaks out the pen and paper because the metal gear franchise must continue for as long as it can

Yeah, voice acting is one of the common complaints. The other is how people think the cutscenes are over the top being too silly. Granted, the series is known to have its humor, but at the time the first MGS came out, it was a groundbreaking stealth game that felt like a real black ops simulator. As for gameplay, some sections of the remake that are meant to be challenging weren't due to them implementing the new mechanics from the second Metal Gear Solid. Finally, it's the fact that it was on the Gamecube, not because it was an exclusive on a console not many own, but the hardware had issues at times with performance when more than one activities were going off at the same time. I do see why people wouldn't like the remake, and I do think the original is untouchable in general, but Twin Snakes is afterall a Remake that tries to set itself apart like Kojima wanted since he said himself he generally doesn't like the idea of remakes. This game honestly didn't advertise it was going to deliver a better MGS1 experience, it was just that folks expected Twins Snakes to be on par or exceed the classic. But instead they received a game that didn't aligned what they invision since remakes back then weren't like the ones we are now used to, expecting everything saved for the visuals and perhaps gameplay to be the final product.
