Darko is by far the best band Tom has done as his own project. Lorna Shore and new Chelsea Grin can't even touch how awesome Darko is.

Lorna Shore has a track called Immortal, which is at least on par with this and my of my favorite songs, it's just devastatingly and magnificently epic. Haven't heard much of either Chelsea Grin or Lorna Shore, but the whole Darko is insane, gotta agree.

The guitars are being used mostly as a percussive sound for sure. Believe it or not, most of any riffage you hear in this song where you can kinda hear actual notes, is actually the bass you're hearing. Guitar open top string is double drop A, bass in normal drop A. With some josh travis dissonant tuning styles.
