I think it depends on the person because for me that’s not really the case I don’t think it’s a bad chorus why I haven’t been drawn to listen to the song on my own outside of these reaction videos that are on RU-vid

I saw this band live in Nagoya, Japan. Absolutely amazing and friendly crew. They put on an incredible live performance too. If you get a chance to see them live, I highly recommend it!

I like it, but ... I miss that melancholic sound so characteristic of Novelists that made them so special. I like them now too, but there are already many more bands that give me what they now offer.

I feel you completely, the past two singles were decent, but songs like Black Lights, The Lichtenberg Figure, Gravity, A Travers Le Miroir and Rain really made Novelists, well Novelists for me. Every song they released was a banger, but the melodic, hopeful and joyous songs and the opposites of them, the melancholic songs were everything that made this band stand out. I feel like a lot of bands that had that special characteristic are falling into the recent “Architects trend” of trying to be epic and triumphant, losing what made them special in the first place. Maybe when the album comes out we’ll see, but I don’t have a lot of hope. :(

@@sukeuryeong Here's the thing though: Architects lost their core song writer, created Holy Hell as a last taste of Tom's sound, and are now moving into a different sound. I just think calling it the, "Architects trend," is a little off/demeaning.

OK, the band has evolved, the sound is nice and the song is catchy.Solo - well I think that there is enough said about it - magnifuckin'cent. I still miss the djenty elemnts though... 9,5 out of 10 I recon. And still cannot wait to see Mr. Nocturnal's reaction on The Korea Waterline.
