I was 1% of linkin park fans this year, their 20th year edition hitted me like an truck, this year definely was full of good shit ngl.

Apparently my Top 5 this were was: 1. All Time Low 2. Sleeping With Sirens (Undefeatable pulled me in & now I'm hooked on the band's music) 3. blink-182 4. Bring Me the Horizon (This is some heavy shit right here) 5. Panic! at the Disco (Even though the band already disbanded) I still like Bad Omens & We Came as Romans though We Came as Romas was the first Post-Hardcore band that I knew.

Sleep Token is Pop for Spotify so my favourite band this year, about a third of my listening hours just on them, made me listen to "pop" the most

For some reason if you listen to a lot of metalcore Spotify seems to default you to Pittsburg, USA. Everyone I've seen that listens to metalcore or similar music gets that location.

My top 5 were 1. I See Stars (got into them in September and loved their New Demons/Treehouse stuff so had them on repeat for like 4 months) 2. Sleep Token (Been listening since the summoning in January and did heavily in June because I listen to them when I'm driving and I went on a lot of trips) 3. Starset (They are just my favorite band in general, got a very sentimental bond to them) 4. Currents (Currents just slaps, loved their new album this year and the album beforehand) 5. Bad Omens (Had their first album on repeat a lot and i had a concert prep playlist because i was going to go see them with ERRA and ISS but i couldn't make it sadly) Then i was also in the top for The Browning, Electric Callboy, Attack Attack (sorry i really love Electronicore), Make Them Suffer, Wage War and a bunch of others. I had like 73.9k minutes listened, i was in the top for way too many bands lol Also I think the reason Termina didnt get a lot because that album didnt drop till like end of September so it only had like 2 months, because that album definitely is a banger.

I’m sorry, Nik, nothing against Termina, but I love the deathphonk chaos. To better explain it: Termina is your band, and it's metalcore in a very cool... but already-existed kind of way. Deathphonk was something most people had never heard in the way you made it. You made, ostensibly, something NEW. And it was a blending of a mainstream-popular genre with metal, and while it's not going to get the same attention as mainstream stuff (because the metal is mixed in), it's more exciting to hear something refreshingly new and still heavy and cool...
