If you loved Jin playing guitar here, you would be floored with his other videos where he plays riffs and melodies on the guitar. One with Jimin singing along and one with Jungkook. He’s self-effacing most of the time but, can master easily what he sets out to do. By the way, I love this acoustic version of theirs as well. The harmonies between these three were so on point.

2 years ago when I discovered this performance I was super excited and impressed with the vocal line. Jin and V were hitting me so hard, the harmonies betweenJin and Jimin, Jin and V and Vmin were so tasteful. The addlibs from Jimin and V were so fine. I wished this accoustic version was available in streaming platforms. I was also extremely glad that they got an opportunity to shine and showcase their talents in vocals and instruments.

Yoongi, Jin and Jimin ALL play guitar very well. Yoongi, Taehyung, Jimin, RM play piano. Jungkook plays drums and did on one of their live performances. RM also plays Sax in the military band.

This is one of my all time favorite live performances. I am so glad you finally got to hear it. I knew you would love the fact Jin was playing the guitar live. I loved Jimin and V ad lib melodies, total ear candy. In the beginning on BTS career Jimin did a lot of the ad lib melodies. Eventually when JK got older and wasn’t so shy he took over most of the ad lib melodies. So I get really excited these days when Jimin sneaks some in during shows because his tone just adds a lot to the songs. Thanks for finally reacting. Hopefully Meg will let you react to my other suggestion of a live of 3 songs where BTS sang with a live band back in 2015. Jimin had some beautiful ad libs for that performance too. They performed in front of maybe 100-150 ARMYs. The members actually mingled with ARMYs while singing the last song. Some lucky ARMYs had Jimin sitting next to them while he was singing. ☺️ I put the link below. I don’t know how but every time, every single time, I hear them sing with the music pulled back I’m impressed by their vocal harmonies. One day I’ll be able to go “oh, of course” but until then I’ll just have to have my mind blown every time.

yes and I had an heated agruement with some idoit who said BTS couldn't write or compose songs because they could play instrustments. So I cited this plus Jin's also playing piano and singing live on stage. I also cited Suga on stage playing and sing on stage with a live band while singing and the Suga singing playing piano live on stage. I cited that RM playing a classical piece on the keyboard to us live on Weverse plus V jamming with the band on Saxophone. The fact that Jungkook plays guitar plus he's played drums lives on stage while singing plus he's played traditional Korean drums as well.

It's such a treat to get to hear their voices, harmonies, and ad libs so clean and clear. Sometimes it's easy to focus on their talent to the detriment of their technique and performances like can remind us of the hard work they've put in.

I had never seen this before either! From concert clips I do know that concerts in Japan are somewhat different with unique arrangements, hits sung in Japanese, etc. Might want to check some out. The audiences are very respectful too.

Ma City done live is so great. You don't get Taehyung's growling vocals in the studio recording like you do live.

I love seeing you react to these guy's. I grew up going to the Monsters of rock and bulldog bashes .. I never liked rap music.. Then I found these boys and I'm now a massive fan. The rap is meaningful, the vocals are beautiful, dance is amazing. I'm loving all of them. But Suga is probably my secret bias. 💜💜

I just saw you're in Nashville. I would have told you to go to City Winery to see Taj Farrant last week. I know the show sold out. If you haven't seen Taj I highly suggest you watch maybe him playing Gary Moore's Parisienne Walkways or Purple Rain but very recent performances. Marty Schwartz played a song with him at the show. Taj is going to be 15 on the 21st and is amazing! 4 #1 original songs on the iTunes blues charts this past year. His producer for his upcoming album also does work with BTS. He recently won a Grammy for his work on Taylor Swift's last album. Taj Farrant is a guitar phenom.
